Beaufort County School Board presented "woke" social studies curriculum

A panel of teachers has recommended a "woke" social studies curriculum for adoption by Beaufort County Schools. While school board members have not yet been shown the full curriculum, its 15 page promotion brochure spends lots of time assuring it presents "diversity, equity, and inclusion" (DEI) which is part of Critical Race Theory. The far left has bastardized how they use these terms so that they have stood them on their head.

The school board is now reviewing this proposal, but has not been shown the full curriculum, much less released it for public review.

Purveyors of school teaching materials are all to prone to lie about their contents, which is why they have to be reviewed throoughly. Here is a good example of that in Georgia:
