Governor Pat McCrory has appointed Eric C. Morgan as a Superior Court Judge in Forsyth County.

News Release:

    Raleigh, N.C.    Governor Pat McCrory has appointed Eric C. Morgan as a Superior Court Judge in Forsyth County. He will fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Superior Court Judge Ronald Spivey.

    "We look forward to Eric Morgan's expertise and the high ethical standards he will bring to the Court," said Governor McCrory.

    Morgan had a general civil practice in Kernersville prior to his appointment. Prior to owning his own practice, Morgan was a partner with Wells Jenkins Lucas & Jenkins and an associate at Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice.

    Morgan is a long time resident of Forsyth County. He graduated from Reynolds High School and received his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law. He was admitted to the State Bar in 1991. He is a law and administration instructor at Forsyth Technical Community College, as well as a CLE instructor in landlord tenant and personal injury law. He and his wife live in Kernersville and have three children.
