Governor McCrory Announces Judicial Appointment | Eastern North Carolina Now

Governor Pat McCrory has selected Jonathan Kreider of Greensboro to fill the district court vacancy in Guilford County. The vacancy was created by the retirement of District Court Judge Linda Falls.

 Raleigh, N.C.     Governor Pat McCrory has selected Jonathan Kreider of Greensboro to fill the district court vacancy in Guilford County. The vacancy was created by the retirement of District Court Judge Linda Falls.

 Kreider has been the managing attorney at the Greensboro office of Dummit Fradin since 2012. His practice concentrates on criminal defense, including work on homicide, DWI, felony drug cases and various misdemeanors. His civil case load includes personal injury, workers' compensation and family law cases.

 Prior to that, he owned and practiced law at Kreider Law, PLLC in Greensboro from 2010-2012, where he practiced in criminal defense, personal injury, workers' compensation and other litigation matters. He was an attorney at Davis and Hamrick, LLP in Winston-Salem from 2008-2010, and defended liability, workers' compensation, insurance coverage and toxic tort claims.

 Kreider earned his law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2008. He earned bachelor degrees in history and political science from Muhlenberg College in Pennsylvania in 2004.
