Donald Trump has overtaken Hillary Clinton in the latest Civitas poll | Eastern North Carolina Now

    RALEIGH     Donald Trump has overtaken Hillary Clinton in the latest Civitas poll.

    When asked for whom they would vote if the presidential election were held today, 39 percent of North Carolina likely voters said Donald Trump while just 36 percent said former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

    And while Clinton continues to lead among women by 11% (44-33), Trump leads among men by 19% (46-27).

    The poll surveyed 600 registered, likely voters (30% on cell phones) with a margin of error of +/- 4.00%. This survey was taken May 21-23, 2016.
