Is Washington big enough to be Little? That was the issue put to the Washington City Council by its "branding" experts at the November council meeting. The brand of "Little Washington" was the cornerstone of the presentation but it seemed to evoke some reservations by the Mayor, outgoing councilman Gil Davis and perhaps others. Thus, that is an issue to be resolved in the "branding process." It was suggested that the effort should be to seek to determine if most people could "learn to live with it" or how many people might simply could not live with the "Little" moniker. To do that, we would suggest that if you have not participated in the process to date that you may want to watch the presentation made to the council and then become involved in the planning process. As you watch the videos below you may want to download the following file which is a .pdf version of the slides used in the presentation. Click here to download the presentation slides.

The first video clip begins the presentation:

The second video clip concludes the formal presentation and includes a brief discussion by council members:

You will note that it was stated that the material will be available at the Visitors' Center on Market St. and that the Center would afford an opportunity for citizen participation in the process.
