Anyone who lived through the '80s and '90s remembers when capitalism seemed victorious over communism. But these days that fact might seem in doubt.

Richard Salsman of Duke University joins Carolina Journal to discuss his new book "Where Have All the Capitalists Gone?" It's published by the American Institute for Economic Research. https://www.amazon.com/dp/1630692085

Salsman believes that if you want to defend capitalism to the society of today, you can't just use economics. Socialists and other enemies of capitalism have been attacking it on moral grounds as well. The enemies of capitalism have been in the education system for decades and capitalists have largely abandoned academia.
