During the 2022 midterms, popular rock performers the Dave Matthews Band used their influence to encourage North Carolina voters to back Democrat U.S. Senate candidate Cheri Beasley, who ultimately fell far short of Republican Sen.-elect Ted Budd. And now, with one remaining race in play to determine the balance of the U.S. Senate, the band is once again hosting a concert to boost Democrat efforts - this time backing Georgia's Democrat incumbent Sen. Raphael Warnock.

Warnock is facing off against Trump-backed Republican candidate and former professional football player Herschel Walker.

Warnock and Walker both had a little over 1.9 million votes, but neither was able to break the 50% margin needed to avoid a runoff. Warnock had a 0.9% lead over Walker in the first vote, but with the Libertarian candidate no longer in the running, the race is expected to be tight.

Republicans are fighting to maintain the 50-50 split they currently enjoy in the U.S. Senate, albeit with the tie-breaking vote of the vice president breaking to the Democrats.

The Dave Matthews Band not only performed for Beasley in Raleigh on Oct. 25 but also held concerts for Pennsylvania Democrat U.S. Senate candidate John Fetterman and for Ohio Democrat U.S. Senate candidate Tim Ryan.

Fetterman won his race against Republican Mehmet Oz on Nov. 8, but Ryan fell short to Republican J.D. Vance.
