Raleigh, N.C.     Today, Governor McCrory announced the following appointments:

Agricultural Hall of Fame Board

    Appoint Jane Iseley (Burlington)
     Iseley is the owner of Iseley Farms, a family farm that has been in continuous production by the Iseleys since 1790. The farm is a part of the Forestry Stewardship Program, has been recognized as a North Carolina Century Farm and as a Conservation Farm.

    Appoint Floyd Anthony Evans (Freemont)
    Evans is the owner of Evans Farm Incorporated and has been farming his entire life. He served as Mayor of Freemont, President of Wayne County Farm Bureau Group and also served on the Alderman Board.

Another Appointment


   Raleigh, N.C.      Today, Governor McCrory designated a new chair of the North Carolina Industrial Commission. Staci Meyer of Wake County, a current commissioner on the Industrial Commission, will serve as its chairwoman. She replaces Pamela Young, who recently stepped down as chair.
