The Beaufort Patriot Tea Party is hosting Tom Rhyne a Director with Grass Roots North Carolina to explain how we can help protect your Second Amendment right to bear arms.

The meeting starts at 7:00 pm at The West end of the Mount Olive College Washington Building on Thursday February 21, 2013.

This meeting is open to the public and is one of the most important meeting that you can attend this week.

Information will be available on a Ladies Day planned at Paradise Outdoors Shooting Range to learn the basics of handling a weapon for home defense. A Private Concealed Carry Class for Tea Party Members and their guest will be announced at the meeting.

This is an opportunity for those that are For or Against the issue to learn real facts. The Meeting is open to all who would like to pursue the truth about a most important issue.

The Declaration of Independence declares that we are endowed by our Creator with certain Inalienable Rights (Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness). Our right to protect our lives and those of our family--self defense--is one of the most sacred of our Inalienable Rights.

There is a difference between Inalienable Rights and Vested Rights. A Vested Right, such as the right to vote, is provided by statute. Vested rights may be infringed by legitimate government action. One of the most important duties of any government is to protect our Inalienable Rights. Thus, Vested Rights can be man's attempt to protect each person's God-given inalienable right. The Constitution contains over 200 Vested Rights. These Vested Rights are designed to protect the Inalienable Rights. One of these Vested Rights is the Second Amendment that gives you the right to Bear Arms for the protection of youself and your family--self defense and the protection of your liberties. That right is under attack today.

There are those that would try to take away all guns either for hunting or protection. If we stand idly by it will happen. Then only outlaws and the Government will have guns and we would be helpless.

The Founding Fathers knew that a balance of power was necessary for a Democratic Republic and three branches of Government were formed. They also understood that the people must always be able to defend themselves against that Government if it usurped their Inalienable rights.

(....the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.) 2nd Amendment US Constitution.

If you believe that you have a right to protect your home and your family and to insure your liberty you need to attend this meeting.

For more information about the meeting you may call (252)943-4538.
