Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson announced Saturday the launch of a news subscription-based site, TuckerCarlson.com, where subscribers can gain access to exclusive content.

"Hey, it's Tucker Carlson. We've been out of work for 7 or 8 months now, hard to know. Time flies when you're unemployed, but actually we have been working in secret and producing an awful lot of material for months now, interviews, etc. And all of it has found its way to TuckerCarlson.com," Carlson said in a video posted Saturday on X, along with a link to the website.

He also teased that the new site was just a part of a bigger venture, adding, "We're launching a brand new thing very soon, and we'd love for you to see it. So go to TuckerCarlson.com to see it first."

The main page of the site prompts the visitor to "Join Team Tucker" by creating an account and becoming a "Founding Member."

Carlson, whose program "Tucker Carlson Tonight" was the highest rated show on the network, was fired from Fox News back in April.

"FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways," Fox News said in a statement announcing Carlson's exit on April 24. "We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor. Mr. Carlson's last program was Friday April 21st. Fox News Tonight will air live at 8 PM/ET starting this evening as an interim show helmed by rotating FOX News personalities until a new host is named."

Since his departure from Fox News, Carlson has posted a series of monologues and interviews on X. Some prominent guests who have been featured on Carlson's X series include former President Donald Trump, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), and Daily Wire host Candace Owens.

The series premiered on June 6, and 46 episodes have been released as of December 7.
