Beaufort County Commissioners Will Meet in a Special Called Meeting to Discuss BRHS | Eastern North Carolina Now

The Beaufort County Board of Commissioners will convene a special called meeting on Friday, January 7, 2011 at the Beaufort County Community College.

    This urgent notice for a special called meeting of the Beaufort County Board of County Commissioners was submitted to me by County Manager Paul Spruill. At appears that the county commissioners will be moving quickly to resolve this exceptional problem.

    The Beaufort County Board of Commissioners will convene a special called meeting on Friday, January 7, 2011 at the Beaufort County Community College multi-purpose room at 4:30pm in order to prepare for its review of December 10, 2010 proposals from future hospital operators. The Board will convene a second special called meeting on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Beaufort County Community College multipurpose room at 2:00pm in order to begin the process of reviewing of proposals. Portions of both meetings may be in closed session.

    The Board anticipates reviewing first the proposal from Community Health Systems. The Beaufort Regional Medical Authority approved on, January 3, 2011 a proposal from Community Health Systems to operate the hospital going forward and recommended that the Board of County Commissioners approve the underlying ground lease for the necessary real estate owned by Beaufort County. Future special meetings of the Board of County Commissioners related to this review process will be scheduled and announced as necessary.

Bureaucrats believe they set policy for spending taxpayer dollars usurping the directions of elected officials.

When President Trump professes "America First," he absolutely means it to his core, and to our benefit as a Representative Republic, which is a welcome change from the previous administration of Idiot President Biden; America's second Non Patriot President.

The process to close Snowden continues to move forward. Time is running out to oppose this decision.
