DEI now includes criminals?
The convenience store / gas station chain Sheetz has long had a corporate policy of not hiring people with criminal records. Any person of average intelligence should comprehend multiple sound reasons for such a policy, but not Biden's Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). They are suing Sheetz to force them to hire criminals because they think it is unfair not to hire criminals. This is DEI gone absolutely bonkers.

It is just common sense that a business like Sheetz would not want convicted criminals working for them. If the crime was some type of stealing, they would not want criminal employees stealing from them. If the crime was some type of assault or sexual assault, they would want to protect their customers and other employees from that behavior. If it was some type of dreug use, they would not want employees stoned on the job. The list could go on.

You do the crime , you do the time. After paying your debt to society one ,would expect to be able to get a job. Not all jobs, but a job. Any thinking person knows society benefits if we, under the proper supervision, allow people a second chance.
