Local politicians are a disparate bunch.

Some are RINO Whisperers, who will do whatever it takes to aggregate power, and others are Conservatives to their core believing in the maxim that less government equals less corruption in providing essential services, and more freedom, in living life as an American citizen, is paramount in this Constitutional Republic.

I know where I stand, and it is my profound and prolonged dream that one day we can educate enough good, curious citizens, so that one day I will finally stand in the Conservative majority here in Beaufort County.

CV: Good idea, but there is one holdup.

Tying funding to any DEI disallowance, will not pass with the current board of county commissioners because the Center-Left /Left Coalition will not back this issue tied to funding because funding is what they most enjoy; however, it is a good campaign issue until the real work can get done later, when there is a real Republican majority.

The City of Washington elections were dictated by turnout, which was low, not historically, but low from what I am used to.

When I run for office, I talk specifically about issues that drive people to vote for either their personal, and, or patriotic concerns; hopefully for both.

The key for higher turnout is education: First for the politicians in their speech; but, moreover, for the voting public in their better perception of that good and patriotic speech spoken and professed.

And, now that this Islamist Mamdani is one of the leaders of the Democratic Socialist Party proves many fears and bolsters my hypothesis that sectors of our self-governed society are a proven poor product of our foundering public education system. Since Snowden has been well discussed, I will make this one salient observation: The willy nilly closing of Snowden will be a major campaign issue going forward, at least it will be for me, since, if re-elected within the structure of a new board of Beaufort County Commissioners that is majority Conservative, I will be able to lead to make the difference to keep the Snowden facility for the Aurora community, and, or continue this excellent learning plant as an outstanding educational resource.

This one thought provoking idea was one of my extemporaneous talking points at the so-called public hearing at Snowden before the Beaufort County Schools abject misadventure is closing down this important Beaufort County /Aurora landmark. If re-elected, Beaufort County will find a way to do what is right, as best we can at this point, to rectify a completely ignorant move in the administration of Beaufort County Schools toward the people of Aurora and Beaufort County regarding the Snowden Debacle.

Steve: Questions must answered about the spending of the money.

When I ran for elected office, probably because of the RINOs that the Beaufort County GOP actively support, which are also my Democrat adversaries, there is no real spending of the money to support me and my Conservative constituents; just that "Forest Woman" running her fool RINO Whispering mouth at the GOP headquarters.

There are questions that must be answered going forward; all real Conservatives know that.

Washingtonian: Good questions; however, I have been told by the three members of the Tax Cut Team that they will listen to me, and will learn whatever worthwhile I can impart.

As a Beaufort County Commissioner, I have developed a firm reputation as a free agent, and well knowledgeable about all levels of governing, and I promise that I will be paying close attention to the City of Washington to make sure there is a solid turn to the light of truly doing the People's business, which they have not for years.

Fortunately for the taxpayers of Washington, NC, SNI /ENCNOW had the distinct pleasure of working with Top Vote Getter Nick Fritz in his quest to guide the City of Washington from their brink of governmental insanity through insolvency, with a great big ole splash of corruption thrown in for good measure.

No Nonsense Nick Fritz not only was elected Washington's Mayor Pro Tem, but he is the natural legislative leader on the council, and I wish the entire City Government Godspeed in turning around a long inept government that has made huge governing blunders through malfeasance, and therefore has incurred much liability in failing, in all good governing conscience, to provide for the proper environment for conducting the People's business.

Governing is serious business, and it is high time that the City of Washington treat it as such.
