Clearly some minds are made up. Before I leave the topic, please remember that the teachers in the county are our neighbors and friends. The gay or trans kids and their families are our neighbors and friends.. Beaufort County teachers are not sexualizing your kids. You should be ashamed for suggesting they do.
Pass all the draconian laws you can. It doesn't change anything. All it does is make some people miserable. Quite the accomplishment.

I hesitate to poke the sanity of the anti vax crowd but you are simply wrong. The notion that vaccines are bad for you is ridiculous. Are they perfect? No. Are there side effects? Yes. Can you die from getting vaccinated? In rare cases probably? However when you compare the effects of the vaccine to the disease, there is no comparison. The first year of the pandemic scared everybody. But we responded and life goes on.

At least we agree the earth is warming. The flaw in your argument CV is that Exxon can do the math. Calculating emissions from the burning of fuel is not that complex and easily done. When you do the math, the emissions are so incredibly high it's hard to ignore. Forget the politics, just do the math. If you do, I think the inescapable conclusion is human activity is driving the bus.
The question is, what's in store for humanity? I can't say, but environment changes that occur too fast are never good. I think the issue warrants concern.

I will agree the term 'WOKE' has taken on many meanings. Unfortunately it is often used to describe something perceived as hateful towards white people. I get it. It's upsetting but if we can't take an honest look at ourselves, how can we possibly expect to do better? Does anyone here think Jim Crow went away by itself? Does anyone honestly think Mr. Crow is dead and buried? Is Dr. King Woke? Look white people are no better or worse than anyone else. We all do bad things. It takes courage to learn from our mistakes. Anyway you shake it, if not done against your will, it's just elective surgery. Can it go bad? Sure. As can any surgery. Bottom line, transgender people exist. Not sure where you live but on this planet we all watched 50+ police officers pick their nose while the shooter killed those kids because they were afraid to go in the classroom.

Anything to back that statement up.? From the endless news coverage it's pretty clear this was essentially the local police force. Keystone cops for sure, but typical of what you get. Personally, unless someone is getting killed, I would never call them. You just dont know what you're going to get.
