In the Middle Ages, the Catholic Church convinced the commoners to buy indulgences to alleviate their sins. And they made a fortune in the process.

Similarly, today, our overlords—the mainstream media, central bankers, and their political allies—are working overtime to convince the commoners to pay for their alleged climate sins.

Enter carbon credits, government-issued permits that grant you the privilege to emit a certain amount of carbon dioxide.

Although advocates promote them as a way to “save the environment,” in reality, carbon credits are nothing more than a devious mechanism to tax, regulate, and control you.

It’s not a coincidence that the most philosophically and ethically bent people are promoting them.

For example, at a recent World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting in Davos, participants revealed and touted an “individual carbon footprint tracker.” It will track where people travel, how they travel, what they eat, and what they consume.

Anyone who buys that global warming malarky is really gullible. If I knew who Bob was, I would go sell him a certaih bridge in Brooklyn. Heck, Gore and Obama spout it but clearly don't believe what they spout since they both bought expensive oceanfront mansions. What phonies.

I got news for you, God made a system that reacts to the things in it. Dump billions of tons of CO2 into His system, and the system dynamics change. As a plane full of innocent children sometimes crashes, the earth can be heated up past its ability to support life.
Btw, the math isn’t voodoo. Any fist year engineering student demonstrate it

Weather can be unpredictable, which is a great analogy of how we are limited in our knowledge of God. But we know He is control of our lives—just as He is in control of the weather.

The way climate alarmists play games by deliberately fudging the numbers was first esposed by the Climategate emails but also by Mann's fake "hockey stick curve" chart. EVERY dire warning they have ever made that has past the date it was supposed to happen, HASN'T, and there have been dozens of them. These clowns are nothing but a doomsday cult dressed up by science fiction and many of them are doing it to rake in money or accumulate power or prestige.

Exxon, thanks to the interference of Larry Fink (apt last name) of Blackrock, now has 3 climate crazies on their board, so any of their "math" is probably of the Common Core variety - where 2 + 2 can be anything you want it to be. It is great to see many states pulling their pension funds (and the shares of stock they represent) out of "woke" Blackrock so they will not be used for political purposes like Fink did at Exxon.

Natural warming and cooling cycles have nothing to do with emissions of anything. In fact, they are mostly driven by the sun. They have happened as long as the Earth has existed, and will continue as long as it does. The far left is getting its panties in a twist over a fake issue.

In fact, some predictions on solar cycles point to a cooling period starting in the not too distant future.

I feel sorry for the true believers in the climate alarmist myth that is in particular being drummed into school children. At least in the UK, the British High Court ruled that Al Gore's "Inconvenient Truth" movie is a propaganda film containing multiple misttatements of fact and ordered that it not be shown to school children without disclaimers of those things.
