This reminds me of Nancy Pelosi calling for rioting after the death of George Floyd, encouraging the BLM / ANTIFA summer 2020 insurrection. She said at a press conferecne before those riots started that people should take to the streets.

Commented on Beaufort County School Board, Pomp and CeremonyThe real problem comes when an elected board starts thinking they work for their own bureaucracy instead of working for the public. That is a huge problem on the school board, and it appears Hudson may be falling into that trap. On the county commission, Frankie Waters is putty in the hands of the county manager. Why is it that we have lame brain elected officials who think their employees are their bosses?

Whether the particular air traffic controller who screwed up was himself a DEI hire or not, the standards for ALL air traffic controllers were relaxed under Obama and again under Biden so that the DEI hires could pass them. Rigorous tests became less rigorous. Air traffic controller is one of those jobs that the key thing in hiring is someone who is best skilled at their craft, NOT someone to meet an arbitrary quota.
I have seen or heard several pilots interviewed who pointed out the instructions to the helicopter by the air traffic controller were downright incompetent.

Commented on Beaufort County School Board, Pomp and CeremonyCheeseman is a control freak which is why he sits up there like he is an elected policy maker, which he is not. Look at other local government bodies like the city council and county commission. Their hired help bureaucrats like their city manager and county manager are NOT up there with the elected officials. They are seated on the side or down in front at a lower level. Cheeseman sit right in the center of the elected officials and even has his secretary on one side and the nominal board chairman on the other. He sits in a position superior to most of the elected board members. That is Cheeseman's ego. He regards himself as the boss, not the employee, and too many of our board members meekly put up with that. Disgusting.

This post was about approval ratings. Bobbie is deflecting. But the election was the most decisive in quite a few cycles, and was an Electoral College landslide, which is where the actual election happens.
Bobbie is also whistling past the graveyard over the fact that black folks are warming to Trump, especially black men.

I remember when globalism was much more shadowy. They were mostly called "one worlders" then and their organizations like the Bilderbergers met in secret so people really did not know fully what they did or wanted to do. That led to a lot of speculation and innuendo from groups like the John Birchers, but that was mostly conspiracy theory because whatever they did, most of it was in secret.
Then came Klaus Schwab, son of an arcent Nazi industrialist, and formed the World Economic Forum, which was open and in-your-face globalism. Instead of conducting their affairs in secret like their predecessors, the WEF did much of their work in public. Schwab published his ideology in his "Great Reset" book, which is like last century's "Mein Kampf" or the previous century's "Communist Manifesto". They also put a lot of their stuff out on the internet. Schwab uses an elitist approach to push his agenda, but not every person in the elite gets invited to his confabs, just that either share his ideology or whom they hope to influence. Sometimes people who clearly don't agree with the political tenets of globalism muscle their way in, and it takes someone like the president of a country to do that.

If a state adopted a law to allow bounty hunters to apprehend illegal aliens, I would bet there would be a mass exodus of illegal aliens from that state to sanctuary states. They would probably get rid of most of them without having to pay out many bounties. Texas, for one, should take a look at this.

For the stupid one here, I will vote for Bobbie. He displays that almost daily.
The Los Angeles Fire Department is an example of how DEI works. Last year they hire their first lesbian fire chief. Now the top five people in the fire department - funny thing - are all lesbians. Were they the most qualified people for those jobs? Of course, not. I suspect DEI will be ended for good for two reasons. One is the Democrats got clobbered this election over their woke agenda. If they keep playing the woke card, they will keep losing. The other is the Constitution. Racial preferences go down the drain when challenged in court as recently happened to UNC and Harvard. The Trump administration's DOJ will permanently destroy DEI in the courts.

Bigot Bob does not want a merit system based on qualifications and ability. He wants a discriminatory system of racial preferences, that smacks of the same thing we had in Jim Crow. DEI and Jim Crow have another thing in common, they were both imposed on us by the Democrats.

Convicted? So were those charged in the Staiin Show Trials, which was a similar politicized kangaroo court. The jury pool is Washington, DC is extremely partisan and would not give a Republican defendant an even break in a politically charged prosecution, or for that matter give an honest prosecution to a Democrat.
That is why prosecutions of the Democrat hacks who have betrayed our immigration laws need to be charged and tried some place like rural Texas.

Fauci is not out of the woods yet. Now that he is pardoned, he can no longer assert the Fifth Amendment to refuse to answer. He can be held in contempt if he refuses to answer or prosecuted if he tells future lies. He will want to protect his associates like Dazak, but he will now have to either spill the beans on those scumbags or go to jail himself.

Economic illiterates on the far left like Bolshevik Bob just refuse to grasp how much damage debt and a debt trap can do to an economy. The war debt from the Napoleonic Ward almost blew up the British economy in the 1820s, and World War I debt did blow up the German economy a century later. Now "woke" debt seriously threatens the American economy. Where it really got where its sustainability was questionable was Biden's "green energy" debt.

Fauci's misdeeds are more than speculative. He has been referred for prosecution for lying under oath to Congress when he testified about gain-of-function research. Now Biden has shut off any repercussions to Fauci, when the Biden regime prosecuted several Trump executive branch people for refusing to testify to Pelosi's sham January 6 committee.
Fauci could have faced five years in prison for lying to Congress under oath. www.dailymail.co.uk

No, Little Bobbie, crime is NOT down. At a convenient political time, the Biden FBI corrupted its numbers to make it look that way, largely by conveniently excluding some major crime-plagued jurisdictions that had failed to report. Later, when they finally corrected those numbers by including that info, crime was, in fact, UP substantially.

Even with a small majority, Republicans are hitting the ground running in Congress. With less than a week in office, they have already passed two significant bills, the Laken Riley Act to crack down on criminal illegal aliens, and now the Protection of Women and Girls Act. So, Bozo Bob, in your view it is only "MAGA" that expects government to properly fund and staff their fire department, to have the resevoirs full and ready to go in fire season, to properly deploy their fire fighters when they is extreme fire danger, to properly manage forests to reduce fire danger, to not have over half the city's fire trucks laid up for lack of repairs, to call a local emergency in a timely manner to get federal resources involved early, and to hire firefighters on their qualifications to do the job rather than some political standard. To most of us those are common sense standards that all state and local governments should be held to.
Assistance to individuals impacted should not be held to standards they individually were not responsible for, but assistance to the governments which screwed up should be held to standards that they will function properly in the future.

While the GOP did have that scumbag Mitch McConnell kowtowing to the Democrats, the special interests, and China, he is now gone as GOP leader, thank goodness. Schumer has been much worse. We also have Phil sleaze-Berger in Raleigh, playing the special interest godfather just like Basnight did. WHile those are indeed Republicans problems they are small potatoes compared to the Democrat corruption.
In North Carolina, Democrats have sold jobs and permits for cash at the state level. GOP administrations have not done that. Is there corruption on both sides? Yes, and with Republicans it is almost always the RINOs, but it is far from 50/50. It probably tilts more 80/20 Democrat to Republican.
