Commented on Love Song Extraordinaire: "Romeo and Juliet"You'll never see Mark destroy his guitar on stage, and you'll never see Pete Townshend ever play close to what we have in Mark Knopfler.

Commented on Love Song Extraordinaire: "Romeo and Juliet"It is a cool style. As a novice, I am using 4 fingers and strumming with my thumb on that rare occasion. My son-in-law swears he is going to learn Buckingham's "Big Love" by Christmas.
Check this out version of "Big Love"; Buckingham leaves nothing on the stage: beaufortcountynow.com

Commented on Roy Cooper Would Take NC 'Back To The Future'The Country Wide deal was easy.
He just does not defend North Carolina's laws, which means he is an empty suit, with a probable empty head to boot, and a definite lack of core values. But being a Democrat, that is just Okay, since Democrats have a different rules, than the rest of us.

Commented on Hillary B. Clinton Camp in Crisis ModeI love the facts, and I tend to overload posts with such, especially with our new Video Search, which will show here that individuals say the stuff that helps make my points for me, based on truth, not Democrat 'talking points'.
The debate tonight will probably re-enforce more Democrat 'talking points', and probably give us some new ones - like their new "four dead Americans" 'talking points', like they even care.

Commented on Hillary B. Clinton Camp in Crisis ModeThe Liberal abyss is that even their so called one Moderate is a rushing to the Left just as fast as her cankles will take her, so humor, if derived as such is most appropriate, especially for a woman who takes great strides to never tell the truth.
She contradicts even her self on a daily basis and admits gross incompetence constantly, so that she may not have such a hard time when the criminal charges so coming her way. So, I will give my opinion constantly on the truth that Hillary B. is a liar, a complete liar. Yes, this post has many links as sources of Hillary's truth that she is a "congenital liar" - William Safire. She has done far enough to warrant such. Now the Democrats, and Hillary, keep bringing up the visage of "four dead Americans" to cast aspersions against the Select Benghazi Committee, when actually ALL elected, and appointed, Democrats have cared to know nothing of what happened at Benghazi. It was actually more than that 'despicable video'.

Commented on Dueling Hits – Jazz –through the yearsNow that is a truth: I've got no booze in the blender. I used too but it' all over now.
Speaking of the Stones, there is this funny line now: "We need to start worrying about what kind of World that we are going to leave Keith Richards".

Commented on Dueling Hits – Jazz –through the yearsI loved "Living and Dying in 3/4's Time", and then everything started sounding like much the same after that. Do you think Jimmy will ever write another "Come Monday"?
I have seen Buffett twice in concert when he and I were much younger, and it just was not that good of quality. When I saw Eric Clapton's shows, when he and I were much younger, it sounded just like, and, sometimes better that the recordings. Plus, almost all of the people that treat Buffett as so wonderful know nothing about music and other stuff; trust me on this one. Try going to a restaurant and that is all they play, and often loud. Commented on Dueling Hits – Jazz –through the yearsJazz is an acquired taste that, in my opinion, has to be learned, and under certain criteria: 1) you need to be exposed to it early in life, or; 2) you need to know something real about music, or; 3) you need to be able to play music, or; 4) you need to really love good rock'n'roll.
If one believes that Jimmy Buffett is your foray into serious rock'n'roll, you probably won't know squat about Charlie Parker or Dizzy Gillespie. In music, I equate everything back to the really great rock'n'roll, which is the reason, I appreciate so many other genres of music; if it rocks, it rocks. From Dizzy Gillespie to Ludwig to Amadeus to Union Station, it's all rock'n'roll to me. Not so much Jimmy Buffett.

Why is it the top post, and probably will remain such: Wyatt draws and paints, so he thinks he knows a lot about art; I still say it is the nudity (about the only I have allowed here on BCN).

Commented on I can't find my mot juste!I am one to have misused mute instead of moot, and I actually don't think I will ever make that mistake again. It was kind of embarrassing to be corrected by a Democrat county commissioner.
I was much younger then, and as I seasoned, when my fellow Democrat and RINO county commissioners made far more egregious mistakes, I never corrected them, I just chuckled to myself, knowing that I had worked so hard to get these meeting on TV. Being corrected publicly in the first year of my 18 year run was probably a good thing. I was far more careful with my words after that.

Ted Cruz's parents were both Cubans by birth, and became naturalized Americans, making Ted Cruz an American by the slimmest of margins since Ted was born in Canada.
The same would true for Obama; however, his father was Kenyan, which made it imperative that he was born in America. That is why it is so important as to where he was born. Neither of Ted's parents could ever be president, because the Constitution does provide for naturalized Americans to ever become president (like Arnold), but, it does not matter where Ted was born, because his parents did what it took for their son to become a pristine American; they became legal citizens, and never renounced that citizenship.
