The cool thing is that posts usually continue to get views forever, and, on occasion, they receive a greater propensity of the traffic.
Wyatt has one, top on this site, that has about 31,000 views, and getting about 150 new views every week. Of course, his post is on the first or second page of Google Search results, on a number of key terms, for his subject post

Commented on Muslim / Christian GenocidePacifism did not work before World War II, and it will not work now.
Apologies for America, while Christians perish, and Liberals find a moral equivalency to explain why the best of America still cares about a world that we helped keep relatively safe for a while. A safer world equates to a safer America. Actually, it is a very Christian concept.

Commented on Muslim / Christian GenocideYou see Gene, I can follow Bobby Tony here as he gets all esoteric about Alice and her stoned friends and acquaintances, but I'm having a hard time following your logic.
A bad cop, or a mistaken cop injuring someone in their care, or when arresting them is just not the same as marching 30 'dark skinned' Christians down by the Mediterranean Sea, and then carving their heads off while the camera records the depravity. You see, I actually care about these 'dark skinned' Christians. Why do not liberals?

Commented on Muslim / Christian GenocideYou see, the way this all works is if you can't recognize genocide, which is the purposeful extermination of a people; because of one's: race, or faith, or ideology, or for what ever reason, you will not know it when it occurs again, as you are having trouble now reconciling it for its expressed purpose right now - the genocide of Christians.
That is how 6 million Jews were exterminated, and about another 4 million: Pols, Gypsies, intellectuals, homosexuals, political adversaries, etc. were slaughtered just a tad more than 70 years ago by one nation under the wrong flag - an evil flag. This has nothing to do with Conservatives, or John Kennedy, or Timothy McVeigh, or bad cops, or Ronald Reagan or George Bush or Dick Cheney. This is about unrecognized genocide by Islamists and Liberals; what an unholy alliance, because this all has very much to do with Barack Hussein - the 'President with dark skin' that you are infatuated with. It is his charge to deal with this, and he has not. But one thing is for sure, his constituents sure get their food stamps on a card and their subsidized health care, their housing, etc, etc.

Commented on Muslim / Christian GenocideThe issue is no longer the Liberal's intrinsic need to form some moral equivalency, as Gene rushes to defend liberal positions (not that there's anything wrong with that), but to understand that there is a logic to living and a logic to dying.
Since the Age of Enlightenment, Christians have learned to live more by Christ's example, his teachings, rather than forging Christ's Kingdom by brute force. Now that we are far beyond those early days of the eighteenth century, wars are not fought for religion, excepting the radicalized Muslims, who, obviously, have missed the whole Age of Enlightenment thing. This is what trips up Liberals, who generally don't do history unless it has been liberalized so they can understand it. They do the moral equivalency commentary because they can conceptualize the 'Howard Zinn talking points' to a point that they can speak it, and then defend it for about 1/2 of a round to some, maybe a few, but are completely unable to take it too far beyond that because of their 'talking points' level of knowledge. Remarkably, many Liberals are well educated, but instead of learning real information, logic, and the ability to reason, many were indoctrinated by half-ass professors with more of an agenda than any true working knowledge of this real world. They graduate, feel good about themselves, get jobs and then are lost. That's about the truth of it.

Commented on Muslim / Christian GenocideThe good Muslims, and I know that there are multitudes, have a huge battle ahead whether they know it or not. They will be called upon to choose, and they will need to choose wisely.
That also is the truth of it.

Commented on Muslim / Christian GenocideWhat I write is true. The truth only knows one side, and that is just the truth of it.
I actually don't believe that there is a moral equivalency for everything. That is a Liberal fantasy, and I don't ascribe to those fantasies as everyone knows.

Commented on More Terror in Obama's AmericaI would vote "stupid" No. 1 for obvious reasons, and then Liberal; "Not that there's anything wrong with that".
On this post: Liberal -2, Stupid -0. This post was about public safety and terrorism, and these are issues that Liberals are dismissive of, so the "L" had to be mentioned.

Commented on More Terror in Obama's AmericaI get it: "Blame America First".
Actually, it was Timothy McVeigh and about 20 years ago, and I like White cops or Black cops, even though some will make mistakes, but for the most part, they keep us safe. So, what you are saying is that purposeful Christian genocide, at the hands of Muslims, around the world in the tens of thousands in just the last two years, is the moral equivalency of Timothy McVeigh 20 years ago, and a few bad, or mistaken cops here in America now. Should we blame Ronald Reagan as well as America, or just our public safety officers?

We welcome all Liberals.
I am a Conservative, and I have been one for a long time, long enough to have complete clarion thought, so I make apologies for myself. The other Conservatives here on BCN can, and do, well speak for themselves. Those in the Squishy Middle generally are not of clarion thought, but they appeal to folks that, also, are not of clarion thought, so we welcome them too. And readership is continuing up, in fact, we have more than doubled in the last 4 months. We welcome everyone, even, and especially, those who do not care about politics, who may come for the pictures, reviews, the Movie/TV Databases, and very soon business sourced information. Actually, I am pushing in every direction away from politics, knowing well, we will always do that sector extremely well, and we will have plenty of political readers contunually.

But that is the truth of it. Look at Baltimore ... mob rule ... demagogue politicians ... stupid Democrats ruling themselves into the ground.
That is the essential truth of it. I not here to make Liberals to feel better about themselves, their poor choices; I espouse the real truth.

It's funny you should mention that.
I think of what Alexis said many times now, and especially when governing. Even more one must know that the People pick those that best represent them, so they will get the government they deserve, or ... we install citizenry hurdles to restrict voting which would mean amending the Constitution - significant enough hurdles to take in consideration de Tocqueville's main tenet of "Democracy in America". It may be the only way to save the Republic.

This post was more about a functioning Republic, which most Americans are oblivious to. Really good politicians of weary of other politicians that are not intellectually acute, because eventually they may prove to be dishonest.
Sadly, these politicians often well represent those that elect them, which speaks constantly of the interminable need to educate, rather than indoctrinate, the public. Liberals more believe in indoctrination, which keeps the public more stupid. The more stupid people voting Democrat, the quicker we lost this Republic. That is the way of it.

Commented on Theories of EducationTony, you have to construct me a post of these essential truths.
Ronald Reagan is the main reason I became a Republican, and served then my county 18 years, and yet, I bet Gene considers Ronald Reagan 10 fold to my desire to do so.

Poverty of mind, poverty of spirit, poverty of intelligence in their elected officials, Baltimore has it all.
Maryland is a divided state between regular folks and the profoundly stupid, and for quite a while, the stupid have been winning. Good one Ted on the redistribution of poverty angle. Maryland has the corner on it. Believe it or not< once Maryland was considered a Southern state. There are many residents on the eastern shore and in their small spit of mountains wish they could be southerners. They detest their stupid elected leaders. Maryland is a great example of when the electorate gets stupid, they elect the stupid.

Commented on Beaufort County Commissioners Possibly Conducted an Illegal Meeting to Hire New ManagerI get that. Why would a Liberal agree with the fiscally prudent commissioners who knew not to allocate huge sums of money on fees to build a jail with no financing in place?
If you were a commissioner you would have voted along with the 5, and not the 2 on that one. But then again, you could tell all your brilliant talk-too-much friends just how well you work with others.

Commented on Across North Carolina: Volume IVYou're right. I have never compromised with stupidity, or with those that can't fathom the better idea.
Now, I have compromised plenty with Hood Richardson, and my No. 1 Guy, David Winstead, but only because they are my intellectual equals. I also listen to my doctors, because I respect them, and my one lawyer, because we make a good team, and therefore he respects my intelligence. I also compromise with those that pay me, providing they pay me in full and on time, and providing they don't ask me to do anything unethical or illegal, or just really stupid. And one more thing, I mostly do what wife needs me to do, because I love her very much. That's how I roll.

I think I am a 'jack of all trades, master of none', execept for three areas: I was very good as a county commissioner, my small team has developed a top flight content management system, which powers BCN, and BCN is the top site in northeastern North Carolina. I'll claim that. In fact, I'm preparing to put together a post on April's traffic, and it was decent. Of course, i could not do any of this without you contributors. At some point, I have to figure how to pay for all of this. Private Message me if you have any any interest.
