I didn't write this one. Brant wrote it.

Well, actually, Brant and Lt. Dan wrote it.

Which is very sad. These are dark days.

I can still hear the insipid refrain of "GM is alive and Osama bin Laden is dead(!)" ringing in my ears. What a freak show?

Barack Hussein Obama?

The Germans bombing Pearl is just a reference to the "Animal House", scene when Blustarsky does his Germans bombing Pearl Harbor soliloquy.

You have to follow the link.

Sarah Plain is not an elected leader. Reagan was president 30 years ago. Amateur Obama is a liar, and he is your president now.

I want him deposed now for his dishonesty. I want that we never have another leader as pathetic as him ever again.

Remarkably, the far lesser journalists of the Obama Media Group have not even covered the mindset of the ObamaCare Architect as if it is information that needs to be carefully quarantined.

I really don't know why Amateur Obama takes issue with the press since most of the OMG are still carrying his foul water.

Little ethics in the liberal press as their devotion to our first Affirmative Action president is quite evident.

Gene, why do Democrats find offense when others blame the obvious as a basis for correcting the problem.

Is it that they just can not conceive the obvious?

I'm just getting warmed up on Obama.

I will never understand the romantic devotion to someone of so little ability by all of you that voted for him. It's not that he faked you guys out, he did say he would govern as he has, except for the lying.

I don't anyone could ever fathom that he would be such a liar, so dishonest in his dealings with the American people.

But an incompetent ideologue, he showed that early on.

After blaming Bush for 5 years, this is Obama's: economy, Benghazi, losing Iraq war, Syria, illegal immigration debacle, cold war reinvigorated, Iran with a nuclear weapon, multiple scandals that would have impeached any Republican, and yes, being an Affirmative Action Black man will not save him any longer.

You call it hate, I call it saving the nation.

In case you haven't noticed, Reaganomics was 30 years ago, Agnew further back.

Benghazi was going on 2 1/2 years ago, and no resolution, just stonewalling; the IRS targeting scandal was almost two years ago, and lies and stonewalling again, with no credible Justice department because of an emphasis on Race, and protecting Amateur Obama.

There exist a climate of corruption in The Amateur's administration that no no bounds.

I sincerely believe his constitutional lawyer status is of the Affirmative Action variety, and does not mean much to those of us who seriously know better.

He has already lost so many opinions in the Supreme Court, and if he does one more executive order to make law, he will risk a whole host unwanted effects, and he will lose in the court of public opinion setting the stage for his eventual impeachment.

The Amateur, when the OMG worked for him, depended on his low-information base that elected him, and to form an approved public opinion. With the obvious defections within the Obama Media Group, he has less media sycophants, plus, so many of his low-information devotees have wizened up, and more still keep their stupid mouths shut, or just don't vote.

The Republicans are spoiling for a fight to save the nation from his unpatriotic grasp. He best be careful. Really, at this point, the Republicans, politically, have nothing to lose. Their Conservative bse will leave the party once and for all if they do not do everything they can to save the nation from the stupidity of the hardened Democrat.

What brand of Kool Aide of you drinking?

The Amateur is the laughing stock of the World, and will be roundly remembered accordingly. He may actually become the first American president ever successfully impeached if he keeps breaking, and not enforcing our laws

I agree.

Government works best when it does not play favorites. Favoring Chocowinity EMS over all other EMS districts is not only unfair, it's possibly illegal to do so.

Well, this issue goes a whole deeper than this. In fact, no one came to the county commissioners to discuss this issue before the lawsuit.

This appears to be more of a public franchise wanting to go private using public money to do so. It just does not work that way.

We can talk about photography, get real warmed up, then we can beat on The Amateur, Numbskull (Lynn didn't like Stretched) Nancy, Hapless Harry Reid, and then Kay Hagan for voting for the simpleton for majority leader.

This Gene.

My camera has all grades of automatic functions and I use almost none of them.

I shoot 99% of my shots manually, and I shoot about, 55% aperture priority and 45% shutter priority, and on top of that only about 25% light meter relevancy. In many cases, the light meter can fool you.

I mostly shoot for subject, but am only now considering different focus subjecting (kind of made that one up).

Just getting the troops ready to politically battle the right adversaries to save the Republic before The Amateur tosses it, and looks for somewhere else to play golf.

I just wish you and H.L. Menken could see just how much damage has been done at home and abroad by this, the Democrat's president, and his hapless hacks.

The winning of the congress just set the table for the battle.

The battle has begun. That was message of the missive. Battles are always negative to some one until they are won.

Thom Thillis Thwins!

52 seats. He could have done it without mine and my wife's votes, but I was his insurance policy.

Now I will watch him very closely, and all that he does not know about what it means to be a good Republican, he better learn fast.

Commented on That Ebola Nurse

But what if, on that rare occasion, she is contagious at some point, and just happens to be around people?

This sets a precedent for self-monitoring that may no be the correct approach in these days within a world of too many folks.

I will have to be our salesman as I now move to market our products, so I will be away a bit more, but the good part, I have two other part timers that can do part of what I can do.

I've waited a long time, but the good part is that our products are getting better and we are creating others - products that heretofore have not been offered in this area, in may areas for that area.

I'll take care of it now.

Wise words Gene.

But, I hope you can understand why I will be supporting Ernie Coleman as Beaufort County's next sheriff.

I in turn will pray that he will be wise, humble and gracious in his position, understanding the power of the High Sheriff, and allocating it judiciously.

Furthermore, it is my hope that he will keep as many, if not all current deputies.

Publisher's note: My reply to the Beaufort Cobserver was not printed in that periodical. I reckon it did not fit their narrative. There were other misrepresentations associated with me and BCN that did fit their narrative, so basically if you read my name, and BCN's position in all of this in the Observer, be advised, there is not much truth to it.

I further reckon that there really are profound differences between the Beaufort Observer and BCN, and their editor, Delma Blinson, was wise to sever all ties with us.

Here at BCN, the truth matters. That is why we not only believe profoundly in the First Amendment, we defend it.

The reply unpublished, but requested by the Beaufort Observer, is here below:

My reply to Beaufort Observer's editor on my choice to publish this piece over his objections:

My policy for the NOWs, with BCN as their prototype, is that Beaufort County NOW will allow content from any contributor, at any time, providing that the content is reasonably well presented. We don't editorialize the content, nor do we cull parts of the content, or advise, and guide the message, or the construction of the content. I am not an editor, only the publisher of Eastern North Carolina's only Moderated Informational Platform - moderated for presentation only.

It does not matter whether I agree or disagree personally with the contribution, I will still allow for its inclusion in BCN. I may form a personal contrary opinion, and publish it in BCN, but that depends on the condition that I know as much or more on the subject as the contributor, and that I have the time to form a similar well presented point.

It's too bad that you have severed all ties with Beaufort County NOW, because the piece you wrote is well presented and I would love to publish it in BCN. It doesn't matter that I don't agree with the point you made about my prototype publication, BCN, but it is a well presented point of your perspective.

I don't know what happened Friday at Beaufort County's gauntlet of politicians at the BCBOE; I wasn't there. I do know that there are many perspectives that should be discussed, evaluated, and then we move past all this.

Mr. Bowen, Ernie Coleman's spiritual advisor and friend, has come so eloquently to his defense, and that speaks volumes to me, probably to others. I pray that we all understand the power of the written word, and that we use it judiciously when we make a point.

Regardless, BCN is your platform to say what you know to be true, providing you don't hide behind fake names, and if you submit a post, it needs to be reasonably well presented. I do not judge for taste, or accuracy: How could I? I am not omnipotent, or a journalist; I just provide the platform, and you are all welcome.

Speak honestly, speak well, and the truth will sort itself out in this life or beyond.

Thanks Gene.

If one has a policy, especially as long as I have had of not only accepting all well presented content but inspiring it, one must stick to it. And I intend to stick to it "come Hell or high water".

I have an affinity for everyone that looks through a lens at the world, and endeavors to record the World as best they can.

I would love to have your shots. I do ask that you develop a theme, with captions; send me the words and pics. and I'll do the rest.

And once again Gene, thanks for all your contributions.

Yeah I that hate too.

Being a principled person means you lug that heavy weight every where you go, especially in business. I won't tolerate a lying politician. I'm sure to be equally ungenerous as I start selling my products.

Thanks Gene. If I could have only made past the RINOs here in Beaufort County, and trust me on this one truth: Limited voting can hurt some Republicans here in Beaufort County - too many people thought I was a shoo-in and spent their one vote on the other guy. Heck, I thought I was a shoo-in.

Keith is a good choice, if you can see clear not to waste your vote on a "write-in" for me.

The Carolina Journal is laying it to Kay Hagan, and for good reason. No politician should use the People's treasury for their own end.

There should be no corporate welfare, but if one is elected, and it is within their purview, then they are precluded from those public funds at all times.

That is the way it works ... even for Democrats.

Our nation's laws are derived from English Common Law, which are rooted in the Ten Commandments.

While I agree that the 1st Amendment insures that this nation will not establish a national religion, nothing in that amendment stipulates that our laws will not reflect an obligation to the morality that is at the core of English Common Law and the principled conviction of our Fore Fathers to establish a free nation 'governed by laws and not by Men.
