Digital currency is the anti-privacy control mechanism of the globalist left like the WEF. Every conservative I know, both tradtional and populist is opposed to it. Republiicans are actually working on roadblocks to digital currency as have recently been passed by the Republican legislature in Florida. It is Biden's appointees who are pushing digital currency, not Republicans.
Most Republican activists also oppose any type of voting connected to computers, and most especially online voting. Requiring paper ballots is very popular among Republicans.

When it comes to raising taxes, Brinson has linked up with fellow travellers in Beaufort County. One of his main campaign operatives is big spending tax raising liberal Republican county commissioner Frankie Waters, who boasted last election that he had raised taxes in three of the eight years he had been a county commissioner. Another is big spender John Rebholz. Both Waters and Rebholz have a long history of lining up politically with liberal Democrats instead of fellow Republicans. That is what is pushing Brinson in Beaufort County. They say birds of a feather flock together. All of them are prone to raise taxes and increase spending.
And, yes, in his short time as a New Bern Alderman, Bob Brinson has already voted to raise taxes there. Michael Speciale, on the other hand was one of the founders and an early chairman of the Coastal Carolina Taxpayers Association, which fights for the taxpayers against big spending.

Commented on Trillions Spent on ‘Climate Change’ Based on Faulty Temperature Data, Climate Experts SayThe fact is that if you look at Earth's climate history, the alternating warming and cooling cycles clearly have nothing to do with CO2. That is a red herring from the climate alarmists. A good example is looking at the 20th century. Most of the warming happened during the Depression when industrial production was more limited. After the Second World War, when industrial production really took off, temperatures fell. They did not start rising again until the next recession. The temperature pattern, even within the current natural warming cycle simply does not fit with industrial production.
For your Chicken Little crowd, the Industrial Age conveniently started just as the most recent cooling period, the Little Ice Age was ending, so of course temperatures went up coming out of a cooling period.

Commented on Trillions Spent on ‘Climate Change’ Based on Faulty Temperature Data, Climate Experts SayThe theory that CO2 had an impact on climate was proposed by a Swedish physicist in the 1890s and got no traction in climate science and was largely forgotten until a British scientific magazine, the New Scientist published an article on this old and forgotten theory in the 1970s, and first British politicians and then UN politicians decided it could be useful politically. The British politicians insured its revival by dumping a bunch of government research money behind it, and that is like dragging a $100 bill through a trailer park to too many scientists. Now the WEF globalists have gotten involved, too.
In reality, the Earth's climate history has seen a repeated cycle of multi-century warm cycles and cool cycles. The last cool cycle, the particularly cold "Little Ice Age" or Maunder Minimum ended in the 19th century and we have been in a natural warming cycle since. The last warming cycle, the Medieval Warm Period was warmer than today and a period of great wealth, not a period will all the bad things today's climate alarmists claim. The granddaddy of warm periods was the Holocene Maximum when it was much warmer than today for 3,000 years and none of the dire consequences claimed by the climate alarmists happened. This cycle coincided with the heyday of ancient Greek civilization and their writings do not indicate any negative effects from it. Real science show these cycles driven by the level of solar radiation, not the level of CO2. In fact the study of ice core samples shows that the levels in CO2 in the atmosphere do not precede temperature changes, but in fact follow them by several hundred years. That means more CO2 is a result of warming, not a cause of it.

Folwell's the man! The only conservative in the primary who delivers on the issues. Robinson talks a good game but sits on his hands and does not even try to deliver. Graham claims to be a conservative although most of the issues he has engaged in like green energy are to the left so he is a counterfeit conservative. We need a doer, not a talker for governor.

Well, Little Bobbie, have you ever been elected to mulitple terms as prime minister of a country then mulitple terms as president? No, I didn't think so. Ever earned a PhD? No, I didn't think so. Ever written a book published in eight languages? No, I didn't think so. That Czech president has accompanished a whole lot more than an internet troll like yourself who does not even produce his own material, just regurgitates it from the far left talking points. If you want to see a real crackpot, Little Bobbie, just look in a mirror.

IT is absurd to allow all these unvetted illegal aliens into the country. They are not medically examined and are bringing in diseases that had previously been eradicated in this country.
They also are not able to pay for their living expenses. In contrast, legal immigrants are required to pass very thorough medical examinations and to present proof that they can financially sustain themselves, either from their own resources or from the financial pledge from a sponsor. The illegal aliens largely end up mooching off of the taxpayers.

The Cheeseman fanboy / fangirl who posts as "Bath parent" has it ass backward. It is Cheeseman who is giving the orders and the six members of the CHeeseman faction who are following them. These clueless six don't seem to comprehend that Cheeseman is their employee instead of their boss. It is pathetic to watch Cheeseman giving them hand signals of what to do at board meetings and regularly whispering in the ear of chairman T.W. Allen of what to do.
Most government bodies like the county commission and city council seat their chief bureaucrat, their city or county manager at the staff table where they belong. Only the weak as water school board seats their superintendant up with the elected officials so he can control the action. With the school board, as someone said, the tail is wagging the dog. The elected board members are supposed to be policy makers while the superintendant is supposed to carry out their policy. Instead, our weak school board members are letting our liberal superintendant run the whole show.

The globalists have told us repeatedly what it is that they want us to eat, and that is worms and bugs and lab-grown Franken-meat. Bill Gates is already hard at work on that project, endorsed by the WEF and Klaus Schwab. So the farms in their new world order will only be needed for food for the elite which is allowed to eat normal food.

If someone who holds two seats on a body and can resign one but keep the other depending on the wording, what difference does it make if it was verbal or in writing? If Firebrand is correct and Richardson clearly stated he was only resigning one of his two seats and keeping the other, what legitimate argument is there that he resigned both? This all seems very very petty.

Commented on Trump pulls largest win ever in IowaA Democrat scheme to boost Haley's vote did not work so well in Iowa, but according to the radio this afternoon they are trying the same thing in New Hampshire. Democrat rigging of their own nomination process included disallowing New Hampshire's traditional primary date and they have been stripped of delegates by the DNC because they would not go along. Biden did not even ask to be on the ballot, so that leaves lots of Democrat voters able to make mischief in the GOP primary. According to what I heard on the radio today, Democrat operatives are knocking on doors asking identified Democrat voters to "hold their nose for Haley" in the GOP primary in order to hurt Trump. Unforturnately, the Republican primary is an open primary to everyone, so the Democrats do not even have to re-register to vote in it. Why people who will be voting Democrat in November are allowed to participate in a Republican primary at all is beyond me.

Commented on Insanity by the Beaufort County School BoardThe driving force behind this unneeded school is the Superintendant, who wants it for a resume item for when he seeks to move up to a larger and better paying school system. It is really about building a resume to benefit an individual, not building a school to benefit students. The sad part is that the majority of our school board are weak and easily controlled yes-men and yes-women who function as puppets of the superintendant. We need new school board members who will represent the voters and taxpayers instead of just representing the superintendant and his interests. This is particularly essential when we have a superintendant who is a total control freak like Cheeseman.

Commented on climate insanity - It's too cold for electric busesBobbie, you do know that the ground sinking, a geological issue, is different from the claim that the sea is rising, don't you?
Filling a room, or any space with CO2 does not make ir a "pollutant". It would only harm animals if there were a lack of oxygen, but with a lot of CO2 around, plants will be making Oxygen like crazy. The Earth once had 100 times as much CO2 in the atmosphere as today, and the planet was just fine.

Commented on climate insanity - It's too cold for electric busesWhat a curious deflection, Bullsh!t Bob. Of course CO2 does "effect the ATMOSPHERE" since it is part of the atmosphere. What it does NOT effect is TEMPERATURE. CO2 is a PRODUCT of temperature changes, NOT a cause of them. Changes in atmospheric CO2 follow changes in global temperatures by several hundred years, the reverse of what would be true if they were the cause of them. CO2 is a nutrient for plants and the more of it in the atmosphere, the better plants grow.
The dishonest and scheming nature of the climate alarmist seientists was clearly shown in the Climategate emails. They are all conmen out to keep the government grant money rolling in.

Commented on climate insanity - It's too cold for electric busesActual climate history shows that the "rising sea level" hoax of the climate alarmists is poppycock. The last multi-century warm cycle in Earth's history, the Medieval Warm Period, when it was warmer than today, had no "sea level rise". We know where the coastal cities of the world were at that time and there is no recorded evidence anywhere of a sea level rise. Actual experience shows this climate alarmist scare story to be false. Ditto another multi-century warming cycle during the Roman Empire. There is no evidence of a "sea level rise" then, either.
To top it all off is the Holocene Mazimum, the granddady of multi-century warm cycles, when it was much warmer than today for 3,000 years. This included the heyday of ancient Greek civilization. We know where the cities of ancient Greece were located and there is no evidence of any "sea level riae" then, either. Climate history exposes this cliimate alarmist fairy tale as a lie.

Commented on Abuse of the JailThe problem with the two tier "justice" system is all about politics, not money. It is about the weaponization of the courts to try to destroy political adversaries. Biden and his allies are trying to make Trump America's Aleksei Navalny and do to Trump what Putin has done to Navalny. Our judicial system is fast becoming like those of Putin's Russia or of banana republics. Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson recently made that comparison and it is unfortunately very accurate.

Commented on Abuse of the JailThe two tier "justice" system is based on politics, not race or wealth, although I know in your mind, Bobbie, everything is based on race. You are a total race hustler. When it comes to classified documents, Hillary and Biden are treated one way and Trump another, and it is all about politics. Pro-Hamas militants can riot inside the Capital Building in support of a terrorist cause and nobody gets arrested, but when Trump supporters do the same, there are mass arrests and long prison sentences. The myth of "hardworking illegal aliens" is blown up by welfare statistics in both America and Europe. Is "welfare recipient" one of those "jobs Americans don't want to do"? Maybe you count those Venezuelan illegal alien migrant prostitutes in Brooklyn who have set up a big open air sex market, but probably they are double dipping from the taxpayer, too. Yes, there are some individual Hispanics I am personally aware of who are hardworking, but I am also aware of others who are not. The welfare rolls tell the tale about the overall picture.
What you seem to hate is the Rule of Law, Bobbie. Our immigration laws should be enforced. The illegal aliens should not be let into the country and those who have sneaked in should be sent home. If they want to come to America, they should follow our immigration laws and apply properly, not thumb their noses at our laws. I would support reinstituting the old Bracero law which allowed for legal and regulated temporary workers from abroad who went home after completing their work. It was the Democrat unions that killed off that law.
