The blame is not the way you far left types try to spin it. They are upset that Israel got caught offguard, and I think in today's world any country that got caught off guard in the same way would see its leaders suffer a huge PR problem. But Israelis are up for the task now, which is to completely destroy, once and for all, the evil that is Hamas. To use the left's own slogan "Whatever it takes".

Another wingnut far left website, Bobbie? "The New Republic" posts left wing conspiracy nonsense.

It is the far left that is backing Hamas in its attrocities against Israel, or like you, makes excuses for them.

Nick Fuentes is a loony bird who is not allowed at most conservative functions. President Trump's staff made a huge mistake in allowing a meeting with him.

What is appalling Bob is that YOU make excuses for the sick attrocities of Hamas against the Jewish folks over in Israel, civilians including women, children, and the elderly, tortured, murdered, raped, some burned alive, some children beheaded. Even an animal does not do that. You want to make excuses for what is a Second Holacaust.

What utter nonsense, Bobbie. I was just listening to Mark Levin, a very prominent and well respected Jewish conservative on the radio last night.

That is true of conservatives abroad as well. There were members of the Jewish religion involved in the conservative political parties of Wilhelmine Germany as well as Weimar Germany. If you have ever been to a German World War I cemetery (I have), one of the things that stands out is all of the Stars of David interspersed with the crosses on the soldiers graves. It was only Hitler's warped brand of socialism that contained animosity toward the Jews. And who could forget Benjamin Disraeli, founder of the modern Conservative Party in the UK.

We can even look to the War Between the States, where the most prominent member of the Jewish faith involved in that war was Judah P. Benjamin of Louisiana, who served throughout the war in President Jefferson Davis' cabinet, successively as Secretary of State, Attorney General, and Secretary of War in the Confederate government.

The modern left's narrative about conservatives and Jews is built around one man, George Soros, who was born in a Jewish family but has not been a Jew in years. He is an atheist. He also was not much of a loyal Jew even in his youth because he was an admitted Nazi collaborator in his native Hungary in World War II. Soros funding of the far left all over the world would make him a major enemy of conservatives regardless of his religion or lack thereof.

Another thought. I seem to remember some radio ads about Frankie Waters being weak on immigration issues. Such positions among the fake "Republicans" on the Beaufort County Commission would correspond to what is pulling down the center-left in Germany, particularly the Free Democrats, the "center" portion of the coalition..
Commented: Tuesday, October 10th, 2023 @ 7:56 am By: John Steed
That is a far cry from the dynamics of current German politics addressed in this thread, which as the headline of a major German newspaper recently proclaimed is "shifting right". The problem in Beaufort County is that since limited voting arrived, there have always been a number of "fake Republicans" running under the Republican banner and getting elected. These are really Democrats-in-Drag and ally with the out of the closet Democrats on the board rather than the genuine Republicans. That means the Democrats are the tail that wags the dog. A good example is Frankie Waters who was a lifelong Democrat who only switched a few months before filing as a "Republican" for county commission, and in the last election contributed money to the Democrat running for sheriff. Until limited voting is eliminated, Beaufort County is screwed. Of course, what is needed to replace it is a system that is not itself manipulated. I prefer an all at-large plan but a district plan under some circumstances could work, too. I don't see how Republicans tolerate some of their elected officials brazenly selling their souls to the Democrats for a title, but under limited voting, they have gotten away with it.

But I guess there is one analogy to German politics and that is that the weakest link in the center-left coalition is the "center" portion of it, the Free Democrats, a party that ideologically is more to the center-right and has often been a coalition partner of the CDU and even tried to broker an FDP-CDU-AfD coalition after one state election. It has been badly hurt politically by its national alliance with the Social Democrats and the Greens, losing all of its seats in a series of state elections. The Free Democrats, who in the past have been to the right of the CDU on immigration and have resisted much of the green agenda in the past, are being abandoned by their base who are upset over the party's flip-flops on those issues. Its sole option to going down the drain in the next national election may be to trigger that election themselves by abandoning the current coalition, and a few of its top leaders have already put out cautious feelers in that direction.

The center=left governing parties are really going to take it on the chin in the state elections in Germany that are set for next year, because all of them are in eastern Germany, where the populist-nationalist anti-immigration right AfD is running first in the polls and the Christian Democrats second. The states are Saxony, Brandenburg, and Thuringia. The smallest party of the center-left coalition, the Free Democrats look to be wiped out in all of those states, and the two bigger parties, the Social Democrats and Greens could well see a total wipeout in at least one of the states each. And, yes, immigration, and the climate nonsense are what are driving votes to the right and away from the left.

Bigot Bob does not get it. He keeps pushing a false narrative of the left about conservatives and Jews. In fact, it is the left that hates Jews through their hatred of Israel, and it does not matter whether it is the left or the right that is running Israel's government at any given time.

Take totalitarian globalist Soros, who was born into a Jewish family but has been an atheist for years, and the contributions of both George and his son of the maximum allowed by law to the campaign of the most rabidly anti-Israel leftwinger in Congress. I guess that sort of fits with George's time as a youth in World War II Hungary when he was a Nazi collaborator.

This blood for the Hamas terror attack is also on Biden's hands. Biden has released billions of dollars in funds to terrorist state Iran, and the BBC is reporting that a Hamas spokesman says that Iran "directly backed" the Hamas terror assault on Iswael.

Climate alarmism is indeed a pagan religious cult. Leading novelist Michael Crichton (Juriassic Park, etc) wrote a very good pamphlet on "Global Warming as a Religion".

In the medieval church, anything bad that happened was called a punishment from God. Under climate alarmism, anything bad that happens is called a punishment from manmade global warming. In the medieval church, if you wanted to sin, you could pay an "indulgence" to the Pope and sin all you wanted. Under climate alarmism, if you want to sin (emit carbon), you can pay an indulgence, called a carbon offset to the Pope of climate alarmism Al Gore and get away with it. Yeah, this is a religious cult.

Here is a good article entitled "Tell America's climate cult to stop":

The most important form of diversity in education is diversity of thought, and the left in American education is trying to stamp that out so that their ideology will be the only one offered. That must be corrected. One way to do that is viewpoint affirmative action. Require that no university facultry be less than 30% conservative or less than 30% liberal. To strike a balance, when a viewpoint is underrepresented, all new hires must be from that viewpoint until 30% is reached. Heck, then raise it to 35%, then 40%. Give students a balance of viewpoints, not one-sided ideological propaganda. Our legislative leadership is letting us down on diversity of viewpoint, and Jon Hardister, who wants to be Commissioner of Labor, has been the committee chairman in the House who has sat on his hands and let this happen.

Common core has dumbed Americans down on math abilities. It has been a cancer in our schools for over a decade, and we need to get rid of this garbage. It is the school board that makes the decision on what our local curriculum will be, and the majority of our current school board clearly do not take that responsiblity seriously. THey just rubberstamp for the liberal superintendant. We need a new school board and we need one badly.

This is common core math, and it is a good example of why parents have been fighting against common core math since its inception. It is why high school grads in local businesses these days have trouble making change.

Beaufort County Schools curriculum director told the school board with a straight face that the Bridges curriculum "is not common core math" but after several people looked at Bridges website which clearly siad their curriculum "aligns with common core math" he had to backtrack and admit it was common core.

The robots who dance on Superintendant Cheeseman's puppet strings all voted for this bad curriculum in spite of that. Bridges is also full of "woke" CRT and DEI.

We need a change of ALL school board seats up for election in 2024.

The closest thing to fascism in modern politics is globalism, and Trump is an opponent of globalism. The high peiest of globalism is Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum (WEF) wgise "Great Reset" book is the "Mein Kampf" of the 21st century. They are the advocates of totalirarianism in today's world. Schwab was actually born in Nazi Germany where his father was a Hitler-supporting industricalst. Other people in the vanguard of the gloabalist totalitarian movement are George Soros, Larry Fink, Bill Gates, and Mark Zuckerberg. Look for a list of those who turn out at Davos, which is the new Nuremburg.

Here in the US, it is Biden, not Trump, who is attacking our democracy, between election manipulation and attacks on the 1st and 2nd amendments. The American people are figuring that out as the poll above shows.

Those do not bother me as much as the useless green energy crap and woke crap, but is not spending in the areas that we should be to thwart Russian aggression. It is unfortunately the sort of thing Democrats do. It is like when the early Russian aggression in the Donbas happened and Obama sent uniforms and radios while Canada under the Conservatives sent weapons. The first responders may be war related as they have to deal with Russia's missile attacks on civilians. Our funding should be for winning the war, not welfare-like spending.

This is much like providing arms to the British to fight Hitler before we were attacked ourselves at Pearl Harbor. Putin is the 21st century equivalent of Hitler or Stalin. However, there should be limits. Money for all sorts of "woke"causes that Ukrainians do not actually believe it themselves is absurd, as are billions for "green energy". Having travelled in Ukraine, including spending a summer week in Crimea, and worked with Ukrainians, I am all for helping them fend off Russian aggression, but Biden goes too far in many of his subsidies. We should have gotten them more sophisticated weapons sooner, but there are lots of things Biden is funding outside the militry sphere that he should not be.

Displaying your ignorance again, Little Bobbie? The crosstabs for this poll show it is balanced between Republicans, Independents, and Democrats, and even a majority of Democrats are concerned that America is headed toward a police state. Yes, proportionately more Republicans are concerned about the country becoming a police state, but so are a majority of all political persuaxions and all age groups.

The information on RINO Jim Perry being involved in snatching responsibilities from Mike Causey is from the linked article from the Daily Haymaker. Its author, Brant Clifton, has covered the General Assembly for years and I suspect knows a whole lot more about what is going on than you do "FreedomFirst". Read Brant's article and educate yourself!

Another big difference between Causey and Perry, is that Causey is a long time Republican activist, going back to the Young Republicans, who has paid his dues in the party and stands by party principles while Perry is a Johnny-Come-Lately who nobody had ever heard of until he showed up to try to get a legislative vacancy due to a resignation, and who in the legislature very often abandons GOP principles.

Just as you use a pen name, so do I, and here is a hint of where it comes from:

Here is why this is such a threat to children. As the medical experts in the UK and Europe tell us, most gender confused children grow out of it naturally. They should be allowed to do so, as it will mean happier lives for them. But some ideologues think that gender confused children should be groomed for a lifetime as some sort of sexual deviant, which is not in their best interests. When schools promote things like this they are taking part in that grooming process. That should not be tolerated.

Hawaii's electric company irnored the warnings about how downed power lines could cause wildfires and the ways it could be fixed, and according to the Wall Street Journal, the reasonn they ignored them was because they were totally focused on global warming. In effect, the global warming craze led to all those deaths and property destruction on Maui.

Bobbie takes the far left narrative as "the truth" instead of looking at actual facts like those reported in this newspaper article.

www.breitbart.com

Now that this is out in public, I can see it presenting a campaign problem. She has said she enjoys lots of sex and with various different men. She is an attractive woman, so how many men are going to be seeking to spend time with her after she asks for their vote, and if she rejects them will it cost her their vote?

One of the few things that Little Bobbie has correct is that Timmy needs to go.

We are talking about how leftists use these terms - "diversity, equity, inclusion" as political busswords today, and they have a very different meaning from when I grew up, was in college, or indeed until just a few years ago. I had no pbollem with them they way they were defined then, but the far left today has gone Orwellian and adapted "New Speak" interpretations, and those are indeed anti-white racism, and in the case of "equity" Marxism.

Officials who suspend rights that are Constitutionally guaranteed are called dictators. I do not think we have any dictators yet at the state or federal level yet in the US, but we are getting uncomfortably close at the federal level and with a few governors like this one.

When guns are taken from law abiding citizens by decree, that is following Hitler's playbook as well as Stalin's.
