As usual, Little Bobbie, you do not keep up on real facts, just the leftwing narrative. The German Health Minister not long ago revealed the results of their government's study on the effectiveness of the Pfizer vaccine, the one most used in Germany. He did not reveal the results voluntarily but only after an opposition member of the Bundestag used a parliamentary inquiry to force disclosure.

That study involved over 45,000 people, half given the Pfizer vaccine and half given a placebo, and then their Covid history was followed, with the key metric being how many died of Covid. The German Health Minister was compelled to reveal that there was no difference whatsoever in Covid deaths between the two groups, meaning the vaccine did nothing.

Then there are the stasitics from Taiwan, which only counts people who died from Covid itself, not just with Covid, as Covid deaths. Their statistics showed slightly more deaths from the Covid vaccine (not sure which one was used there) than from Covid itself.

Stan, having this wokester on your site, along with her woke husband, at least provides some entertainment. A little humor to go along with Babylon Bee, although this couple don't realize the humor in their righting.

The growing totalitarianism of woke is shown by proposals both here and in Europe to criminalize "misgendering" someone who is mixed up what gender they factually and biologically are. Harry Potter author J. K. Rowling has said she would not call a biological boy a "girl" and would go to jail if she had to for it.

The Campbells are far left fruitcakes, and I guess if the site has to have token lefties, these loony birds are as good as any.

Summed up, Polish politics has gotten a lot more fragmented. The farthest right party, actually a coalition of smaller parties but functioning as a single party, Confederation, made gains but is still far behind the major parties of the right, Law and Justice on the populist side and Civic Platform on the traditional side. Only once since the fall of communism has a single party been able to achieve a majority in Poland by itself, and that was Law and Justice. Poland is back to a more fragmented situation but with a whole lot more seats in parliament for parties of the right than parties of the left. The result also means than one of the two major parties of the right will lead the new government, and it is Law and Justice with the better path to a stable coalition.

The meat grinder of a corrupt prosecutor was shown in earlier prosecutions of people associated with Trump who after they got their own situations over with revealed that prosecutors offered to let them walk if they would tell the prosecutor's narrative against Trump, and the prosecutor was wanting them to testify to things that simply weeren't true. These out of control political hack proseutors in these "destroy Trump" cases know that they can destroy the lives of co-defendants if they refuse to play ball.

This is worse than a banana republic. This is like Stalin's show trials. And the worst thing is, they are protecting the real crook, Biden.

And maybe you think George Orwell was a "dummy". Orwell wrote: "So much of left-wing thought is a kind of playing with fire by people who don't even know that fire is hot."

If you want to see a dummy, Little Bobbie, here is a hint: Go look in a mirror.

THose who want to put deed records on computers remind me of those who insist on using voting machines, which are corruptable, instead of paper ballots. Computerized records are fine as a convenience for those offsite, but permanent records should be hard copy of critical documents.

That said, the real problem in the Register of Deeds office is a space problem, which has been called to the attention of the county commission several years ago by the previous Register of Deeds. Even space for more computer terminals would be a space problem. At one time, it was thought that the old Seaboard Savings and Loan building would go to the Register of Deeds for more space, but the county manager gave that to the finance department instead.

There goes Baghdad Bob again injecting race into everything. According to Baghdad Big Bob, the terrorism against Israel is Israel's fault and Trump is an evil WHITE MAN.

Your attitude is like Biden admitted to, where for the left "truth" is a different thing than facts, Baghdad Bob. Those who excused the Nazi's horrors and those who excuse Hamas' horrors are equally evil. Look in the mirror, Bobbie, because that includes YOU.

That's just a sneaky way to blame the victim. Only the extreme left and radical Islamists think there is any justification for what Hamas did. Even a prominent Muslim Imam in France has called upon President Macron to deport all the Islamists who back this stuff from France "without mercy" (his words). Those who try to justify or excuse terrorism are as evil as the terrorists themselves.

If you want to see crazy, Bigot Bob, go look in a mirror. The polling shows most Americans view Israel, not Hamas, as the victim, and they view what Hamas did as terrorism. Your view is that of the far left radical fringe.

There goes Bigot "Blame the Jew" Bob again! Despite what he says, the terror inflicted by Hamas is NOT Israel's fault. And NO, Israel does not practice "apartheid", that is simply far left nonsense, the "blame the Jew" mentality.

When Israel declared its independence, local Arabs had a choice of staying and becoming full pledged Israeli citizens, with full rights as Israelis, which many of them did. There are even Arab Israeli parties in the Israeli parliament, which were part of the last coaltion government.

However, a larger number chose to reject and renounce Israel and flee. They made their choice and now have to live with it. Israel gave them the chance to participate as full citizens, but they rejected it.

That is just like American independence. British sympathizers had a chance to stay and become part of the independent American states, which many did, with full rights as Americans. Others chose to flee and renounce their opportunity to be Americans. Many pro-British planters from North Carolina, for example, fled to the Bahamas with their slaves. Many Bahamians today are descendants of those transplanted North Carolina British loyalists or the slaves that were taken with them from North Carolina.

When a country achieves its independence, one often has a choice to make on taking part or not. Some choose badly in those circumstances.

News operations and "fact checking" are usually separate arms of an organization. The article linked in the post above gives the source. It is even more appalling when so-called "fact checkers" ignore the news side of their own organization. Agency Press Francais operates the same way with separate news and "fact checking" arms, with the added problem that they are partly funded by the French government, which taints the spin on their "fact checking".

Fess up, 2nd Holocaust denier. Bigot Bobbie, you posted the far left meme that the Hamas terrorism is the fault of Israeli "apartheid". And it is your buddies, Hamas, that are the violent ones - beheading children, raping women, burning people alive. cutting the baby out of a pregnant woman, etc. Supporting terrorists NEVER brings peace, unless you want the peace of the grave for the victims. You are beneath contempt, Bigot Bob.

Oh, and like most conservatives, I never "google" anything. I search with a more honest and less biased search engine like Brave Search, DuckDuckGo, or even Bing. Google is anti-privacy, anti-free speech, and very biased.

Israel, hopefully, has learned the lesson. Civilian gun control there meant that Israeli citizens, other than the handful of authorized guards, had no guns to defend themselves against the Hamas thugs. More citizen guns and big mags would have helped a lot.

Actually, the best situation is Switzerland, where every able bodied male is required by law to keep a military rifle and ammo at home.

The Muslim attackers yelled "Allahu Akbar". The French government has banned pro-Palestinian demonstrations and deployed extra police to Jewish sites.

Why rehash your false spin, Bigot Bob? Yes, Israelis are pissed that their government got caught offguard by the surprise attack, as most populations would be in similar circumstances. But that is a far different thing from the far left's "blame the Jew" approach that you try to insinuate.

Those who brought death and destruction in southern Israel to innocent civilians, women, children, babies, the elderly, including rape, torture, and beheading were the darlings of the far left, Hamas. Bigot Bob is a Hamas apologist who wants to blame the victims.
Commented: Friday, October 13th, 2023 @ 10:11 am By: John Steed
The blame is not the way you far left types try to spin it. They are upset that Israel got caught offguard, and I think in today's world any country that got caught off guard in the same way would see its leaders suffer a huge PR problem. But Israelis are up for the task now, which is to completely destroy, once and for all, the evil that is Hamas. To use the left's own slogan "Whatever it takes".

Nick Fuentes is a loony bird who is not allowed at most conservative functions. President Trump's staff made a huge mistake in allowing a meeting with him.

What is appalling Bob is that YOU make excuses for the sick attrocities of Hamas against the Jewish folks over in Israel, civilians including women, children, and the elderly, tortured, murdered, raped, some burned alive, some children beheaded. Even an animal does not do that. You want to make excuses for what is a Second Holacaust.

What utter nonsense, Bobbie. I was just listening to Mark Levin, a very prominent and well respected Jewish conservative on the radio last night.

That is true of conservatives abroad as well. There were members of the Jewish religion involved in the conservative political parties of Wilhelmine Germany as well as Weimar Germany. If you have ever been to a German World War I cemetery (I have), one of the things that stands out is all of the Stars of David interspersed with the crosses on the soldiers graves. It was only Hitler's warped brand of socialism that contained animosity toward the Jews. And who could forget Benjamin Disraeli, founder of the modern Conservative Party in the UK.

We can even look to the War Between the States, where the most prominent member of the Jewish faith involved in that war was Judah P. Benjamin of Louisiana, who served throughout the war in President Jefferson Davis' cabinet, successively as Secretary of State, Attorney General, and Secretary of War in the Confederate government.

The modern left's narrative about conservatives and Jews is built around one man, George Soros, who was born in a Jewish family but has not been a Jew in years. He is an atheist. He also was not much of a loyal Jew even in his youth because he was an admitted Nazi collaborator in his native Hungary in World War II. Soros funding of the far left all over the world would make him a major enemy of conservatives regardless of his religion or lack thereof.

Another thought. I seem to remember some radio ads about Frankie Waters being weak on immigration issues. Such positions among the fake "Republicans" on the Beaufort County Commission would correspond to what is pulling down the center-left in Germany, particularly the Free Democrats, the "center" portion of the coalition..
Commented: Tuesday, October 10th, 2023 @ 7:56 am By: John Steed
That is a far cry from the dynamics of current German politics addressed in this thread, which as the headline of a major German newspaper recently proclaimed is "shifting right". The problem in Beaufort County is that since limited voting arrived, there have always been a number of "fake Republicans" running under the Republican banner and getting elected. These are really Democrats-in-Drag and ally with the out of the closet Democrats on the board rather than the genuine Republicans. That means the Democrats are the tail that wags the dog. A good example is Frankie Waters who was a lifelong Democrat who only switched a few months before filing as a "Republican" for county commission, and in the last election contributed money to the Democrat running for sheriff. Until limited voting is eliminated, Beaufort County is screwed. Of course, what is needed to replace it is a system that is not itself manipulated. I prefer an all at-large plan but a district plan under some circumstances could work, too. I don't see how Republicans tolerate some of their elected officials brazenly selling their souls to the Democrats for a title, but under limited voting, they have gotten away with it.

But I guess there is one analogy to German politics and that is that the weakest link in the center-left coalition is the "center" portion of it, the Free Democrats, a party that ideologically is more to the center-right and has often been a coalition partner of the CDU and even tried to broker an FDP-CDU-AfD coalition after one state election. It has been badly hurt politically by its national alliance with the Social Democrats and the Greens, losing all of its seats in a series of state elections. The Free Democrats, who in the past have been to the right of the CDU on immigration and have resisted much of the green agenda in the past, are being abandoned by their base who are upset over the party's flip-flops on those issues. Its sole option to going down the drain in the next national election may be to trigger that election themselves by abandoning the current coalition, and a few of its top leaders have already put out cautious feelers in that direction.
Commented: Monday, October 9th, 2023 @ 9:31 pm By: John Steed
The center=left governing parties are really going to take it on the chin in the state elections in Germany that are set for next year, because all of them are in eastern Germany, where the populist-nationalist anti-immigration right AfD is running first in the polls and the Christian Democrats second. The states are Saxony, Brandenburg, and Thuringia. The smallest party of the center-left coalition, the Free Democrats look to be wiped out in all of those states, and the two bigger parties, the Social Democrats and Greens could well see a total wipeout in at least one of the states each. And, yes, immigration, and the climate nonsense are what are driving votes to the right and away from the left.
Commented: Monday, October 9th, 2023 @ 7:17 pm By: John Steed
Bigot Bob does not get it. He keeps pushing a false narrative of the left about conservatives and Jews. In fact, it is the left that hates Jews through their hatred of Israel, and it does not matter whether it is the left or the right that is running Israel's government at any given time.

Take totalitarian globalist Soros, who was born into a Jewish family but has been an atheist for years, and the contributions of both George and his son of the maximum allowed by law to the campaign of the most rabidly anti-Israel leftwinger in Congress. I guess that sort of fits with George's time as a youth in World War II Hungary when he was a Nazi collaborator.

Climate alarmism is indeed a pagan religious cult. Leading novelist Michael Crichton (Juriassic Park, etc) wrote a very good pamphlet on "Global Warming as a Religion".

In the medieval church, anything bad that happened was called a punishment from God. Under climate alarmism, anything bad that happens is called a punishment from manmade global warming. In the medieval church, if you wanted to sin, you could pay an "indulgence" to the Pope and sin all you wanted. Under climate alarmism, if you want to sin (emit carbon), you can pay an indulgence, called a carbon offset to the Pope of climate alarmism Al Gore and get away with it. Yeah, this is a religious cult.

Here is a good article entitled "Tell America's climate cult to stop":

The most important form of diversity in education is diversity of thought, and the left in American education is trying to stamp that out so that their ideology will be the only one offered. That must be corrected. One way to do that is viewpoint affirmative action. Require that no university facultry be less than 30% conservative or less than 30% liberal. To strike a balance, when a viewpoint is underrepresented, all new hires must be from that viewpoint until 30% is reached. Heck, then raise it to 35%, then 40%. Give students a balance of viewpoints, not one-sided ideological propaganda. Our legislative leadership is letting us down on diversity of viewpoint, and Jon Hardister, who wants to be Commissioner of Labor, has been the committee chairman in the House who has sat on his hands and let this happen.
