Big Government Bob is just parroting Chicken Little. The climate alarmists have made dozens of dire predictions that have already passed the time when they were supposed to come true, but not a single one of them has come true or even come close. The slimate alarmists are con men, who are the modern day Chicken Little. Big Government Bob is just enough of a gullible fool to keep believing the nonsense predictions they spout.

None of the climate alarmist leaders seem to actually believe this crap they spew on rising sea levels. Al Gore and Barack Obama have both bought multi-million dollar oceanfront mansions in recent years. They put their own money a very different place from where their mouth is. So why is Big Government Bob so gullible to believe it?

Actual history disproves their theory anyway. The Earth periodically rotates between centuries-long warm spells and cold spells. The last warm spell, known to climatologists as the Medieval Warm Period was much warmer than today, and we know where all the low lying cities in Europe were located then, and NONE of them recording any rise in sea level from the global warming of that period.

One can look back even farther to the longest and hottest warm period the Earth has experienced, the Holocene Maximum, which correponds with the Bronze Age of human development. Again, we know where the ancient Greek and other cities were located during that period, and those locations show no probleme with a rising sea level and none of the ancient writings say anything about one.

So, I call BS on you, Big Government Bob.

This eco-fascism is a gross abuse of authority. No bureaucracy should have this amount of power. The environmental protection racket is one of the worst protection rackets out there. The EPA needs to have its powers stripped if not being outright abolished. They are a threat to democracy as they exist today. Major decisions like they dictate should be made by elected officials not unelected bureaucrats. Putting what is actually legislative functions into the hands of an executive branch agency is a threat to separation of power.

This is also a matter of establishment of a state religion, Climate Scientology.

It is not suprising that Big Government Bob is all for this eco-fascism.

Gender dysphoria should be added to the list of mental health conditions that prevent issuance of gun permits. These people are clearly prone to violence and terrorism. For that matter they should not be allowed to have any items that could be used for terrorism - knives, explosives, axes, hatchets, etc. This week there was a killing of 5 students in a school in Brazil by a nutjob with a hatchet (no word if he was transgender).

I was a big fan of Mark Robinson when he ran for his current office. He is a first rate orator and hit all the right conservative notes. He started off great on the education issues, but he stopped, not even attending state school board meetings for months. A governor's appointees are key to his success. They are what made Jim Martin a great governor and Pat McCrory a poor one. Robinson has a rather small staff as Lt. Governor but his appointments there have been less than impressive. Most importantly, Robinson was asleep at the switch when RINOs pushed major left wing legislation including the Obamacare Medicaid expansion and the NC Green New Deal through the legislature. A group of conservative energy experts actually met with Robinson on contesting the Green New Deal but Robinson refused to get involved. Dale Folwell, on the other hand has shown as State Treasurer that he knows how to properly staff government with competent conservatives and he knows how to use the levers of power to push conservative policy. Talk is great with Robinson but it is Folwell who shows he can actually push conservative policy successfully.

Offshore wind is some of the most expensive there is to produce and will cause our electric bills to skyrocket. It also damages our commercial fishing industry and our coastal tourism industry, and slaughters seabirds, dolphins, and whales. This is a VERY BAD deal for North Carolina.

Only one member of SVB's board had banking experience. The rest were political hacks, and the bank was eaten up by woke ESG and DEI. Bailing out the depositers was a travesty. But many banks are eaten up by woke and are playing the same destructive ESG and DEI games. The rest way to protect our banking system is to prohibit banks from playing the DEI and ESG games with our money.

The New York Times published an article in the mid 1930s about how one German state had to take the guns away from the Jewish people because the Jewish people were shooting Nazis, and they reported that nonsense with a straight face. Then in 1938, Hitler's Reich gun law took guns away from everybody. I'll bet those Jewish folks wished they still had their guns when the Gestapo came to send them to the camps. This is part of the steady march to an authoritarian single payer system like Canada or the UK with horrendous waiting lists for people to get care. You are involuntarily transfering hundreds of thousands of North Carolinians who now have private health insurance onto the government dole at the taxpayers expense. If they qualify by income for Medicaid, they have to get Medicaid, and can no longer keep their private health insurance, and that sometimes means they cannot keep their doctor. Taxpayers are also being screwed to the wall to pay for this. Big Medicine is an enemy of American freedom, and Republican sellouts who voted for this bill are traitors to Republican voters.
