Pete is such a very young man to take on this big job, and like most young men that truly live their lives, he has made mistakes; however, the thing about Pete Hegseth is that he absolutely is one of we mortals that lives his life fully, with a curious and quick intellect; a blithe spirit that does also know the horrors of war first hand.
If Mr. Trump wants him, he is qualified to be Secretary of Defense.

Van Zant: President Trump was elected in 3 presidential elections, after three hard fought campaigns, to serve just 2 terms.
I do expect the newly elected president to pardon all January 6th Martyrs once he takes office, and while he is at the pardoning table, I am prayerful that this president will pardon all Right to Life Martyrs victimized by the corrupt, weaponized Biden /Harris DOJ, administered by the utterly corrupt AG Merrick Garland.

All things considered, the Robinson campaign was possibly the worst for a Republican in the history of North Carolina for that most important of a seat of governor. Mark Robinson's political career is over for any major seat.
Why? His campaign was incredibly pathetic, and he bears responsibility too. I have a Raleigh friend (one of my wife's best childhood friends, but I like her too), who had a huge fundraiser for Mark, and I just have to wonder how she feels right now about how her time and money was spent. One day, I shall ask her. Dale Folwell would have won that seat, and that is why I voted for and supported Dale in the primary. Plus, I know Dale, and I know that he is solid.

Update: I just wanted to add that a Democratic Socialist judge has just NOW (morning of 102524) overruled the sovereign Commonwealth of Virginia to allow 1600 Non Citizens (mostly Illegals from the Harris /Biden Open Border Policy) to vote in this 2024 election. The suit was brought by the Corrupt Harris /Biden Department of (In)Justice. Sure, Big Bob, Democratic Socialists "do not cheat in elections" ... Yeah, sure they don't.

My greatest concern is: Can Mr. Trump win by a large enough margin that this natural victory can withstand the wanton cheating by the Democratic Socialists that will come, as the stage was set in 2020, that they can possibly get away with it?
