I could say what you said Mr. Bob ("slaves cant consent to anything), in regards to women back in history: "women cant consent to anything."

Black men, ex-slaves got the right to vote before any woman did!
Women were owned by the men in their lives.

But that was then. Today is different. I have seen a black President, but not a woman president. Women could play the victim as easily as you do.

Does that make me want to punish all the men today, for what men did who were running the world back then? No, because that would be punishing innocent people. Put your thinking cap on. Stop being what you claim to hate.

Do parents & grandparents ever speak w/ their children abt why they are in school? Or abt th PURPOSE as it pertains, directly to the future wellbeing of your child? Does he/she know that there is a "future" and how well they are prepared for it, will affect their comfort in life?
Does your child understand why the daily assignment is important to learning well? Does he/she understand that each daily lesson is a foundation for the next daily lesson, and w/out the first, the second will be lost?
Dont just think because u told your child something, that they've gotten it. Repetition, repetition, repetition is how they learn.
Dont just take your child's grade A for granted. Reward them!
But also in today's environment, dont for a moment believe that an A+ grade means they did A work. Dumbing down is where we are at now.
Lead by example. They are watching u constantly!
If u love your child, never use them as a weapon against your spouse, with which u have a love/hate relationship.

Speaking of illegal aliens and Beaufort County...
I dont know if they are citizens or not, but Washington,NC now have people camping out on the sidewalk in front of Walmart during the day, and further down the sidewalk at night.

Maybe not enough of the ppl are "thoughtfully" aware.

IMO...The history of us, that everyone should be thoroughly
knowledgeable about:

1) The Rise and Fall of Rome. (Why did Rome go into decline, leading to its fall?)
2) The Witch Hunts & Trials of Germany, Scotland, England, Salem. (Wow! Lets talk about Fear & ELITES in control! As well as human
nature.)
3) The 10 Commandments.(Who can argue w its words?)
4) The stages of Socialism and Communism. (Humans become just a
commodity for Govt.)

Parents, teach your children these things...everyday! And more!

The way I see it is that the decline of the USA began with the Clintons.
When Hillary taught the world that the "Ends justify the Means." All integrity, standards, and morals was set aside.

Take for example Democrat Senator Reid telling outright lies abt Mitt Romney.
When Reid was exposed after Romney lost the election, his reply was: "Well it worked didnt it."

Sad to say, but Republicans have reached a point now, where they must fight fire with fire. Turning the other cheek to the cheaters is not going to suffice. The future will not be a happy place for the weak.

I do and I find it most comfortable.

If your children arent using it, I dare to suggest it is because they were NOT taught to be proficient at it. They were likely discouraged from the use of it. The truth lies somewhere other than simply that your children naturally prefer printing. They were not taught to be good at it. I can recall practicing cursive writing was a lot like art. Very satisfying.

AND, I can read OLD documents. Which reminds me of how the ancient Christian churches didnt want the people to be able to read the bible for themselves. Its all about control of the peons.
