There are also a lot more reasons not to vote for Morgan. Check out the following link for more information about Richard Morgan and why, as a Republican, you would not vote for him for dog catcher!

Commented On Obama's Legal Muscle Resigns
Holder is leaving now because the optics of a pardon would be much less humiliating to the Dems in the 2016 Pres election if he were a civilian vs. the AG....just my .02

Commented On Obama's Legal Muscle Resigns
It's typical, the very first responce to your "rhetoric" fails to mention any facts, court cases, etc...to refute the points you made. The best arguement made in the opening salvo is that you are a "hater", so tired of hearing that trivial responce.

No respect at all for Holder. And I challenge anyone to give 2 examples (that haven't been overturned by the courts)of anything his DOJ has done that showed his respect for the Constitution being applied fairly and equitably to everyone. (And please don't mention Bush or Cheney in a feable attempt to your opinion)

Commented On Diane Gentile Rufino
Miss Diane was a sweet lady, a beautiful soul and a devoted patriot that saw the best in everyone. We lovingly called her our "Sarah Conner" for her courageous fight against cancer.
We should all take a page out of her book. She will most certainly be missed here in this plane but she is resting peacefully beyond the sunset. Rest easy, Miss Diane. |

Commented On Malicious damage to our schools
Prendiegirl, WITN stated, as of June 3, that 47 people have been identified in the vandalism. What the hell do FERPA laws have to do with this situation other than being used as a "bleeding heart" cop-out, exactly?
In the state of NC, you're an adult at 16. Best I can recall, most of the 47 identified are over 16 years old. If it were my child and he got caught doing stupid s***, as my granddaddy used to say: "If you're gonna be stupid, you better be tough." |

Commented On Beaufort County Government’s Bad Budget Decisions
So, to sum it up, they couldn't find anybody here so they went to the next county over?
That ought to say something. |

Commented On Beaufort County Government’s Bad Budget Decisions
I think the biggest pile of dinosaur s*** in the middle of the room here is, again, how do you justify increasing taxes to build two Metropolis Mega schools when you don't even have the students to justify building them?
Nobody has brought this up since all the other hoohoo has been in public conversation; ain't that somethin'? The two Metropolis Mega dump site proposal got shot down because of.....an increase in cost. Hmmm..riddle me this, Alfred: if the cost of the dump sites went up, wouldn't that mean the cost of other shit, shit needed to build a school, has gone up too? Odds are it's probably doubled, wouldn't ya say? It don't take Batman to figure out that somebody doesn't know what the hell they're doing and it's costing us a lot of bread; bread we ain't got. |

Commented On The "Get Trump" Circus should be shut down
The PRA requires all records created by Presidents be turned over to NARA."
NARA has made clear that there is "no history, practice, or provision in law for presidents to take official records with them when they leave office." Trump should have known at least the basics of the PRA. Nevertheless, he held onto boxes of classified documents rather than turn them over to NARA.That alone would have would have been a violation of the PRA and other laws — but what he did was even worse. Trump kept highly classified documents about military and nuclear capabilities of foreign countries and US military contingency plans in truly absurd places at Mar-a-Lago. Then he showed them to civilians without security clearances, while indicating that he knew he wasn’t allowed to. When the DOJ subpoenaed him Trump indicated to his lawyers that he wanted to cover up his possession of the documents. Mr Steed feel free to support traitor Trump but you may be one of the few who is unaware of the facts. |

Commented On Washington, N.C., Deserves Better Than This
re: Washington being broken — you asked why Washington's government isn't the topic of every conversation every day. Honestly? Because people are tired. Tired of showing up, tired of being ignored, tired of watching the same cycle repeat itself. But I'll tell you what wakes people back up — moments exactly like this one. A rushed hire, a humiliated public servant, a police chief vacancy held open like a chess piece, and two council members who apparently believe accountability only flows downward. Washington isn't broken beyond repair. But it will be if Monday's vote goes through unchallenged and nobody says a word.
