Thom Tillis, Mitch McConnell, and a few other RINOs are the reason we got the budget busting Green New Deal mislabeled as the "Inflation Reduction Act" (it did just the opposite!). These RINOs gave Biden the votes to pass their also mislabeled "infrastructure" bill without having to use their "reconcilation" slot that avoided filibusters. It was only the fact that the reconciliation slot was still available that theywere able to pass the Green New Deal budget busting bill. Thanks a lot, Tillis. That is a big reason that I will NOT be voting for you regardless of who is running against you. Tillis is a spendthrift that we do not need in the Senate.

It is likely that ActBlue is how the Mexican crime cartels, who were making money hand over fist from human smuggling from the Biden Democrats' open borders policies, funneled money to Harris-Waltz and other Democrat campaigns. It was a good investment for them.

I will not, under any circumstances vote for Thom Tillis. I hope Republicans nominate somebody I can vote for because I do not vote for Democrats, but I will leave the Senate line blank if they nominate Tillis.

Cornyn, Cassidy, and Tillis are all traitors on illegal immigration. They all need to be taken out in the 2026 primaries. Lindsey Graham (aka Grahamnesty) also needs to go.

Thom Tillis is an open borders amnesty whore. No one who wants secure borders should ever consider voting for that scoundrel. He is as bad as any Democrat and he corrupts the GOP caucus.

Tillis, like his master McConnell, can be counted on to take the Red Chinese position over what is best for our own country.

First he tried to maneuver against Pete Hegseth, now Tillis is trying to undermine Trump on tariffs. Tillis needs to GO in the primary. I hope Trump is working on a primary opponent for him.

Congress and democrats have been a failure on tariffs. They have talked big for decades, Pelosi, Schumer, Obama, Clinton, Biden etc. but have done NOTHING.
The republicans need to rid themselves of all the RINO's. Sadly the people keep voting them back in. Part of the problem is the primaries. If you had only one or 2 strong conservatives instead of a field of 10 or more running there would be a better chance of voting Tillis out in the primaries.

What is so appalling about this case is not only did it involve judge shopping but also DISTRICT shopping. The plaintiffs were in Texas which is where the proper venue for the case lay. Boasberg allowed plaintiffs' lawyers to bring it in the wrong district, to which the plaintiffs had no connection. The Supreme Court was right in finding Boasberg lacked jurisdiction, something Boasberg should have known himself from the beginning.

There need to be more safeguards on getting a neutral judge which is not presently happening in the federal system. Perhaps plaintiffs counsel should be punished for deliberately filing in the wrong district. Obviously there needs to be some reforms on how judges get assigned.

CNN is playing its usual political gain. When the stock market was going down after this policy was announced, it kept a stock ticket on its screen, but today with the market going up, funny thing, that stock ticker is absent.

This is just one more truly dumb move by the Beaufort County School Board.

Why is it the responsibility of the Conservative members of the Beaufort County Board of County Commissioners to know more about acting in a more prudent manner than those elected to do so?

Maybe, it is because we fund the Beaufort County Schools, and all of their bad decisions. So, should the question truly become: Why is the 4 member majority - the Center-Left Coalition - so incurious in performing any oversight when it comes to the education of their Constituents' children?

It is an insult to down and out Americans to use any public money to put illegal aliens up in hotels, especially luxury hotels. Legal immigrants have to have a sponsor to cover any initial housing and support expenses, so why should people who should not even be here get all these perks? It is an insult to legal immigrants as well as to citizens. Trump is doing a good job cutting off these parasites.

Borderhawk, your words are true: The overall largest expense in Beaufort County may well be Illegals.

Amy "Benedict Arnold" Barrett sided with the liberals on a key issue, yet again. She was a very BAD pick by Trump. He should have looked at issues other than Roe v. Wade, as she stinks on most everything else. Now this stupid witch is pro criminal illegal alien. Freedom of Speech was far more important than Roe, as is stopped illegal immigration.

Anti-democracy acts by globalists are now widespread in the EU, and trying to remove leading presidential candidates from being able to run, as has happened in recent months in both Romania and France is the most appalling of all, especially in using unelected, unaccountable political appointee judges to do it. Judges need to keep their stinking noses OUT of politics or those noses need to be cut off (figuratively).

Good to see the SCOTUS finally shut this despicable scumbag tyrant Boasberg and his judicial insurrection down. Now we need a Congressional investigation of Boasberg, preferably in the Senate and headed by Sen. John Kennedy. Subpoena scumbag Boasberg and put the jerk under oath in public testimony. Such a dog and pony show may help deter other Biden and Obama judges from similar misbehavior. And if he lies under oath, then prosecutre him. That will get him off the bench, and hopefully into a prison.

Illegal aliens are a huge expense for taxpayers in any country they infest. In Germany, 63% of the welfare budget goes to illegal aliens, up from 61% the previous year.

The illegal aliens not on Medicaid are just as big a problem because they just show up at the Emergency Room and don't pay. The hospitals losses from that are then added to the bills of paying patients, driving up cots to both patients and insurance companies, and also contributing to higher medical insurance premiums.

Either way, these freeloader are a pain in the pocketbook to our citizens and they need to be GONE.

For decades there has been a clear cut distinction within education between conservatives who favor community schools and liberals who favor large consolidated schools. The large consolidated schools tend to involve less community involvement and less parent involvement, and the liberal education establishment wants to cut out as much of both as they can.

Liberal superintendent Cheeseman is clearly on a resume building mission for his next job to try to move to a larger and better paying district and apparently seeing school consolidation as something he wants on his resume. Thus the ungainly consolidation plan on elementary schools in Washington, and now the closure of Snowden, forcing its student population to a school thirty miles away. We need more school board members who will put the education of Beaufort County students ahead of Cheeseman's resume building. Right now a majority of the board seems to ask "how high?" when Cheeseman says "jump".

What have we learned in all of this?
1) Republican majorities don't mean diddly squat. We hear lots of talk, but when it comes right down to it, there's just a bunch of self-serving actions. Republicans. Democrats. Just different wings on the same bird.
2) Community schools are an endangered species. I still know people mad about John A. Wilkinson. Now Snowden is in the crosshairs.

It would be poetic justice if Boasberg could be ousted from his judgeship, stripped of his citizenship for treason, and put on one of those planes to El Salvador with his illegal alien gangster buddies.

That poll also found that his border policies on illegal aliens was Trump's most popular program. It found 69% approval (46% strongly approve), 12% disapproval (only 6% strongly disapprove), 15% neither approve nor disapprove, 4% no answer

Buzz, the purpose of the Local GOP is to vet candidates, and then support the ones that are worthy.

It is not civic club. The Beaufort County GOP's exclusive mandate is to elect real Republicans as per the dictates of the Republican Party Platform of Ideals.

I know you see it that way too, or you would not have done all that you have done over these many decades to elect the real Republicans in our midst that truly need real help.

Thank-you Buzz for all that you do, and all that you have done.
