Anti-immigration parties than call for mass deportation of the illegal aliens are leading in the polls in many European countries - Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland, the UK, Italy, etc. and just won the Czech election a few months ago. Illegal immigration is a huge threat to the western world.

The Democratic Socialist political movement of Anti Ice Protests, all inspired by their Non Patriot Leftist storm troopers, is a bridge too far for the patriot class of this Constitutional Republic, and if Democratic Socialist Non Patriots wish to die on this political hill, so-be-it.

It is great that dirty sewer rat Berger is getting booted, but now we have our own local dirty money sewer rat Armstrong.

Unfortunately, Stan, so much of the Senate is now composed of Berger puppets that one of his lieutenants is likely to become the New Berger and try to continue pay for play as usual. The sorest of the lot is Senator Brent Jackson. Then there is House ultra-RINO Jimmy Dixon who has made himself extremely useful to Berger and to the special interests in this election cycle, including doing a lot of their recruiting.

I wish cleaning up state government was as easy as cutting off th3e head of the biggest snake in the nest.

RH: What happens hero locally when Berger loses his primary, and that dark money starts to dry up?

Does the DOT plan for 15th street allow for big trucks, such as dump trucks or even log trucks?
Is the new plan intended to be a WAshington bypass, for the eastern folks to get to Greenville?

I only travel 15th street about twice a month and usually after 5:00 oclock, but I never see a problem with it. I choose it over 5th street which I consider more dangerous than any other roadway.

We need stronger campaign finance laws to reveal where this dark money actually comes from, but the current leaders in Raleigh profit from it so they will block any reform. There is little doubt in my mind that Monsanto bought our seat for their flunky Armstrong, but as long as the records cannot be accessed, it cannot be proven.

That flood of money to buy our district wasn't Soros money, it was Berger money which is just as bad. Now they have bought themselves a Berger Boy as our state representative. Sickening.

In own NC House primary, I was starting to think there was Soros money involved with over 15 filers in my mailbox in less than a week.

Ms Garris has (HDS) Hood Derangement Syndrome.
Commented: Tuesday, March 10th, 2026 @ 7:01 pm By: Washingtonian
A kindergarten mental case judge would have dismissed this action, too. This legal attempt by Chairman Garris is one of the looniest things I have ever heard of. Are there any bounds to the lengths these scoundrels will go to in order to avoid any consequences for their unethical behaviors in a real meeting of the executive committee?

Fruit Loop Garris and her zombie goon followers need to answer the 12 questions presented here to the totally in the dark and left out executive committee. At this time this mess has reached a point where the general population of Beaufort County Republicans need to hear those answers also. This "leadership" has lost credibility with any thinking Republican. It is past time to come clean.

Two more questions need an answer at this time:
1. Who are the members of the unauthorized Victory Sub-Committee that has illegally taken over executive committee duties?
2. Is Kidwell still on board with all this unethical nonsense?

This episode needs to come to an end other than being swept under the rug.

There are way too many illegal aliens registering to vote and voting in our elections. The SAVE Act will put a stop to it, but RINO US Senate leader is dragging his feet on it, and our own turncoat US Senator Thom Tillis is outright opposing it. I wonder if Tillis knows that stupid position will destroy his protege Michael Whatley in the race to succeed him.

The Government of the City of Washington is BROKEN.

It didnt just get broken, I've known its been broken for years, but sadly getting a new mayor, 3 new council members and a new interim City Manager hasnt fixed it.

Returning Councilman Tyre is the one pointing it out.
Strangely enough, he never mentioned how broken it was over the last few years. But if he's a changed man, who am I to argue with it.

Anyone else want to discuss their own perceptions of how broken Washington City govt is? Maybe you should watch the meetings.

Tyre is now performing oversight over everything. I've got a few issues I'd like to see some oversight over. I'm thinking of testing him with my observations. If he really is seeking truth, and not just playing a game, I'd vote for him.

Anyone here have an opinion? Well of course you do. Everyone here has an opinion. LOL

RH: Yeah, I saw that piece being worked in this traditionally low turnout election, along with some other poorly considered strategies worked within the dysfunctional Beaufort County GOP, also tied into the Armstrong juggernaut... And his success.

The great irony here is that the Beaufort County GOP, who did absolutely nothing to turn out the vote, actually aided in getting Keith Kidwell beat in this primary, which he might have prevailed with a stronger turnout.

My race was a good indicator of such as my vote total was about as normal as it ever has been, with this year like-minded candidate Travis Martin sharing and borrowing in what voting largess I might have gotten if he had not been in the race.

Historically, I always run much stronger in the General Election, which I will need to do to win, and, or win big. I have much time to campaign until November.

The only potential corruption I see, Washingtonian, among the two House candidates is Armstrong's ties to Monsanto and its cancer-causing product RoundUp. Defending RoundUp and Monsanto was about the only real issue commitment Armstrong made in the campaign. Why is that corrupt? Because Armstrong's seed business has very deep business ties to Monsanto. He grows genetically modified seeds designed to be used with RoundUp.

If Armstrong starts actually pushing Monsanto's agenda in Raleigh, there will be formal ethics complaints waiting for him. But why else did he even run?

And that half million spent against Kidwell by that dark money special interest PAC raises questions, too. How much of that came from Monsanto?

Armstrong should be dubbed the "RoundUp RINO".

Van Zant: Regarding the Local Beaufort County GOP, I have recognized everything that you have mentioned here some time earlier, and, as of late, the local party has done absolutely nothing to assuage my knowledge, or yours of their subterfuge.

I am prayerful that things will change, but I am also in NO way sanguine that a real Beaufort County GOP will emerge from these self imposed ashes that will be helpful to this proven Conservative in his Conservative quest to continue to serve the good People of Beaufort County.

The primary race at the top of the ticket was a huge disappointment for conservatives too. Don Brown was a good candidate. A worthy candidate. Michael Whatley and Thom Tillis have done more than any I can think of to turn North Carolina blue. The corrupt North Carolina GOP has worked hard to give us this crap.

Locally, we can see the same thing with the corrupt Beaufort County Republican Party. With party leadership embracing ultra-liberals and shunning conservative officeholders, we are witnessing a recipe for party disaster. It's time for conservatives to recognize the situation and react on our own. This party is a long way from representing anything remotely connected to Jesse Helms, John East, or Lauch Faircloth. The party platform has been thrown out the window. The party plan of organization has been flushed. We can't be nice to these horrible, incompetent, corrupt people any longer. It's not like they are nice to us. They are destroying our community.

If conservatives do not organize and react to this situation, we will be a blue state for a long, long time and our community will be too corrupt to fix.

Berger may be on the way out, but we still have a lot of work to do.

CV: Agreed - Don Brown was the best choice to represent the Republican platform, the Conservative platform in the 2026 General Election for US Senate.

It is also agreed that those hoping for a conservative majority on the Beaufort County Commission should work to elect their candidate who they believe to best suited for their needs, and then let the chips fall where they may.

I will work with whatever Republicans that will caucus with myself and The Hood. Those that will not caucus with the two commissioners with the most experience and knowledge will be forced to form their own Center-Left/ Left Coalition with whatever Democratic Socialists are left on our board of commissioners, and that will seal their political fate just as they wished it to be.

That is simply the "Math of It."

One more thing: Those members of the local electorate that wish to be governed by a Conservative styled local government will be unhappy with whatever they get unless they gain the knowledge of what a Conservative styled local government is at its core, and how it must be politically constructed in this age where inexperienced politicians - like Frankie Waters and Randy Waters - always get rolled by the bureaucrats; not unlike children playing with boys far too big and far too strong, and in the context of politics ... Those far too wise for their simple cognitive abilities here in Beaufort County.

I missed one important primary race in my earlier comment. The loss of the only conservative, and the only real shot at beating Roy Cooper, namely Don Brown, in the US Senate primary is a huge loss for our state. Tillis-acolyte Whatley, I'm afraid, does not have what it takes to beat Cooper.

VZ, from watching the meetings on TV, I would put the dominant liberals as Carolyn Walker and T.W. Allen. Eltha Booth votes with them but she usually just sits and votes. Williams is definite a swing vote, and sometimes, so is Hudson.

Stan, we do not need any more splitting votes. All conservatives need to vote for you. That is what all of my family did in the first round and we will in November. Anyone else who we cannot get to do that, we need to try to push to Woolard if we can. Issues-wise, I think Woolard will work with the conservative team much more so than Edwards.

Superintendent Don Phipps, former Beaufort County Schools superintendent, who is now the Forsyth County Superintendent, is the gold star best when it he managed Beaufort County ... The very best in my 26 years as a county commissioner, and the creator of the very best educational digital platform, an objective truth, Beaufort County schools has ever had the pleasure to use for 5 years.

I have always relished the opportunity to deal with smart, honest people, and after working with Don Phipps on so many different levels, I can assuredly state: Superintendent Phipps will straighten in Forsyth County Schools, regardless of the undertaking.
