Liberals caused abortions to come under fire themselves by extending the time all the way to end stage. Except in very rare instances, women know if they want an abortion by the end of the 3rd or 4th months. That is bad enough but to extend beyond that must be horrific torture to the child. Ask yourself: if a baby was in front of you, could you sever its limbs, cut out its heart, and sell its organs?

I think we all know that the Right Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr., did not live by that dictum. Neither does "Reverend" Warnocke of Georgia. I believe it's safe to say that many churches don't live according to the "wall of separation" Jefferson wrote of in a private letter. He did not put it in the Declaration of Independence nor is it in the Constitution.
The Founding Fathers made no allowance for the founding of a Church of State. Neither the Anglicans of England nor the Covenanters of Jonathon Edwards would be the official religion of the new nation. They were shunning the wars Catholics and Protestants fought in Europe. We had a similar dispute here in the colony of North Carolina, only that was between Quakers and Anglicans. If we don't talk about political matters where our people assemble, then we surrender the field of battle. Speaking of politics in church does not violate the Constitution.

Washington Fire Department is supposed to run two EMS units. Because they are required to have at least one paramedic on a unit they are unable to do that. WFC has one paramedic per shift which means if one is sick or out they can not respond unless someone is called in to work. Paramedic level requires to specific manning so if the county had not gone to paramedic we would all be better. Because Washington does not respond two units you often see other county units having to respond to their calls which means their area is not covered.
There would have been nothing wrong with leaving us at EMT level. I believe that you would have been able to still have a paramedic if the person was trained but by not being required you could still respond.
At least we have not gotten as bad as Pitt County who has a doctor riding around in a SUV.

I need to gain approval of the documents by the Board of Trustees first. Also, it would be impossible for a non-citizen to obtain County funds, since doing so requires completion of the FAFSA, which requires identification of citizenship status. —DL

As president of Beaufort County Community College, I can confirm that no money from Beaufort County is used to pay for tuition and fees via Beaufort Promise or any other purpose for non-citizens ("illegal aliens") from Beaufort County or any other location.
