"Bat Out of Hell" meets a good Ole Alabama Country boy

Same song but two versions, but both could bring a tear or two.

A fat rock and roll singer named Meat Loaf released his Album Bat out of Hell in 1977, which included the song "Two out of Three Ain't Bad". It and the whole album became a mega hit.

If you have never had your heart broken by a woman, you may be able to relate to the Moog-synthesizer embellishments by session keyboardist Roger Powell. If on the other hand you have had a women rip out your heart and stomp that sucker flat, then you just might be the guy this song is about.

Flash forward thirty-three years and you are just now getting over that female dog's treatment of you, and along comes a Long haired bearded Country Alabama boy to perform the same song with a country flare.

He performs the song on the Don Imus show on Fox News network which means that most of you liberals have probably never seen this version.

Let just say that Don Imus was fired by NBC long before they fired Donald Trump and reinstated Brian Williams. Don't ask me to explain the liberal logic on display here, I cannot.

Anyway here are the two versions. Both are about five minutes long so you can skip them and move on to the next post if time is of the essence.

    First, the Meat Loaf version.

    And now, Jamey Johnson Version
