Logic is the strong suit of computers,it can seem that they have more cognitive ability than they do.

This video shows how a computer robot solves the Rubik's Cube. It looks like magic at first but you must remember that a computer thinks in sequential fashion. It is just a bunch of this or that decisions. Some clown sent me a video link on this where one of the squares was replaced with a color not in the original mix.

The robot could not solve the problem because there is no solution. For some reason, I cannot find the link to that video but I suspect that it was removed from YouTube by their automated algorithm robot who (yes I think it is a who and not a what) was obvious trying to protect the impression that computers can think.

In any event, here is the solution. When the cube first came out, I was able to solve it eventually but was never able to duplicate that feat. I had no system but just random moves and by sheer luck hit the solution.

I wish I could apply that same random luck to the lottery, but luck is luck. Of course I will be testing my luck this Wednesday January 13 for a prize of $1 Billion Plus $$$$$.

Robots solving Rubik's cube in less than two seconds. Add a few more cameras and a few step motors and you now have a robot that can solve Rubik's cube quicker than you can say Rubik's Cube.
