MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace suggested Monday that the United States might need a "Democracy commission" or some other organization that could save America from the Republicans - and she thought that former President Barack Obama could potentially spearhead such an effort.

Wallace, who hosts "Deadline: White House" on the left-leaning network posed the question to former Senator Claire McCaskill (D-MO) - and even McCaskill quickly dismissed the idea that a "commission" of any sort was necessary.

"The reason I started by asking if we'd ever been here before is because I think as a country we all have to participate in it," Wallace began. "Because if you have kids, your kids wake up, if you have anything to do with an election, if you're an election worker or a news anchor, they want to know what happened."

Wallace went on to say that, much like the week following the 2020 presidential election, election days in the future could stretch into weeks because the results were just not known by the end of the day.

"I think we have to have a conversation as a country about how we might not know the next morning what happened," she explained. "We might not know the day after that - and that is their point!"

"That is their point!" Wallace said again, going on to argue that some Republicans were not even running to win, necessarily, but rather, to muddy the waters and sow chaos and confusion. "Some of them will [win], unfortunately. They are running to sow discord in America. And it will change everything."

Wallace continued down that path, claiming that Election Day might not even be a thing in two years' time and suggesting that it might be Election Week instead.

"What we are watching, and because it's so slow, it's so slow, we don't cover it as a five-alarm fire but it is," Wallace added. "We are watching Republicans not just destroying Democracy in the dark, breaking into election offices and plugging stuff in, we're watching them do it from rally stages. Debate stages. That's where they're doing it."

Wallace then asked McCaskill directly whether she thought such unprecedented behavior called for a "Democracy commission," adding, "Should President Obama ask Chris Christie and Ben Ginsberg to sort of man a Democracy hotline, you know, man other crises - what should we do?"

McCaskill quickly pulled back from the idea of a commission, saying instead that Republicans just had to be better. "It just take Republicans that have some character and integrity," she said.

Considering that Joe Biden is considered by so many to be the Imposter President: Is he actually knowledgeable enough, wise enough, patriotic enough to be this Constitutional Republic's president at this difficult point in these tumultuous times?
Yes, Mr. Biden is thoughtful and kind, and just so different from the "Orange Man".
No, this representation of "president" is either too corrupt, too stupid, or both to be a real president.
I just want the fun guy, who knew how to make stuff work back.
