Beware the Tillis candidates - Haley and Graham | Eastern NC Now

Tillis is moderate-liberal senator out of touch with GOP grassroots

ENCNow

Thom Tillis has taken the liberal position on a wide variety of issues, including being soft on illegal immigration.  His conservative ratings fall below 50%, usually in the 40s.  Conservatives should not just walk but run away from candidates connected to Tillis.

Tillis has recently signalled his preference for globalist RINO Nikki Haley, saying "I have tremendous respect for Nikki.  She would make a good president."

Tillis is even more heavily involved in the governor's primary.  His political consultant Paul Shumaker recruited RINO Bill Graham to run for governor and is quarterbacking Graham's campaign.  Tillis has endorsed Graham for governor.  Graham, like John Edwards, is a rich pretty-boy trial lawyer who is trying to buy the nomination with millions of dollars of his own money.  While he has a liberal record on some key issues, Graham falls all over himself to try to call himself a conservative.  Some of Graham's lawsuits have made him radioactive among farmers, a key GOP constituency, meaning he is probably unelectable in a general election.

The Tillis endorsed candidates and Berger endorsed candidates are RINOs of the worst order, or in some cases just useful idiots who will go along to get along.

You can add the Mark Robinson endorsed candidates. Not sure how Robinson picks them but it seems like voodoo or something. He generally picks the ones in Berger's pocket or the least conservative candidate in the race. I once thought Robinson had great potential, but the more I see of him, he is clueless in politics. He delivers a good speech that somebody else writes for him, but that is about it. And when he endorses somebody, it usually means the other candidate is the better bet. I was a big fan of Robinson when he ran for Lt. Governor, but the more I have seen of him in office, the less I like him. He is a big, fat phoney.

I am equally concerned that we beat the Phil Berger candidates in the primary. Berger has strongarmed Roy Cooper's key issues, all of which are liberal, through the legislature, including allowing men into womens restrooms and locker rooms, the Green New Deal, Obamacare Medicaid expansion, and the NCInnovation slush fund. Phil Berger is at least as bad as Thom Tillis. Berger openly endorsed a liberal Democrat judge in a competitive district last election.

Berger has endorsed Mark Robinson for governor and embedded a liberal consultant associated with Berger, who is from Chapel Hill, Jim Blaine, in Robinson's campaign.

Berger is also pushing a bunch of less than conservative candidates for various Council of State offices. He is also pushing Bob Brinson for state senate in this district. JUST SAY NO to Phil Berger by voting against his candidates.

Remember, Berger was the one responsible for gerrymandering Bill Cook out of his senate seat by sticking Beaufort County in a majority black district. Phil Berger is an enemy of conservatives and an enemy of Beaufort County.
