Two government attacks on gun rights have been parried in the courts. A federal district court in Texas has issued a preliminary injunction stopping Biden's "universal background check" rule which would have treated any private individual who sold or transferred one gun in a year the same as a licensened gun dealer. Meanwhile the US Supreme Court struck down the "bump stock" rule.

The case against the "universal background check" rule was filed by several states led by the Attorney General of Texas, Ken Paxton and by the Gun Owners of America (GOA). While the federal government was not enjoined from enforcing the rule in states that were not parties to the lawsuit, it was enjoined from enforcing it against anyone who is a member of GOA, so any gun owner in any state who joins GOA is protected by the court from the Biden operatives.

Oh yes I can buy one. Go online. You can too. I'll post a link if you like. About 350 bucks.The Las Vegas mass shooter found them very useful. The Supreme Court says I can own and use one all I want. So...you know, keep your head on a swivel, price of freedom, duck and cover...what ever.

You can’t get a bump stock Bob, and why would you want to? They are a hazard to all involved. Not to mention utterly useless for hitting a target.

I sense that this is your approach to all issues though. A spray and pray technique, rather than a disciplined approach. You should practice your aim my friend because you are missing the mark.

I'm glad. Safety means everyone should carry at all times. Where can I get a bump stock? I'm worried about right wing Christian nationals and want to be able to defend myself.

I agree Bob. People would commit less shootings if there is a high probability they may be shot back. Unfortunately this has become the case in our society.
