Tillis blasts Trump’s plan to slash drug prices | Eastern NC Now

Despite soaring prescription costs for Americans

ENCNow

RINO Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC) openly rebuked President Trump’s bold new plan to slash sky-high prescription drug prices during a Senate hearing on Pharmacy http://eva.fod.uce.edu.ec/ Benefit Managers and Drug Pricing.

During a heated Senate hearing on Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) and drug pricing, Tillis took aim at Trump’s executive order, calling the  “Most Favored Nation” (MFN) policy “shortsighted” and “unsustainable.”

Rather than stand with working Americans crushed by obscene prescription costs, Tillis chose to parrot talking points straight from the pharmaceutical lobby’s playbook.

TIllis is unelectable. Why does this fool posture on running again? We must take him out in the primary if we are going to keep that seat away from Roy Cooper.

Another anti-Tillis primary campaign song just came out - "Ground Control to Major Thom"

So Tillis thinks drugs should cost more to Americans than to foreigners? How does he think that will play in the 2026 election, in the primary or the general?

When I worked in eastern Europe, I could buy one of my prescription drugs whose cash price in the US at the time was $120 for a 30-day supply for $10. for a 30-day supply at pharmacies in Moldova or Romania. Why were Americans getting slammed on the much higher price, and why would Tillis condone that? My guess is that it is a dog whistle to get Big Pharma political contributions.
