Today, the Fayetteville Observer reported that the Air Force is delaying its plans to deactivate Fort Bragg's 440th Airlift Wing for one year as a result of a sustained push by North Carolina's Congressional delegation to stop the deactivation.

On 1-8-2015, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office Drug Unit arrested Kasey Demon Bragg, 37 years of age, of 103 Third Street in Aurora. Bragg was charged with Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
