Randy Walker and Frankie Waters pretended to leave the Democrat Party but their "switch" to "Republican" was as phony as a three dollar bill. They are both still tax and spend Democrats and a menace to Beaufort County taxpayers. They are poseurs who need to be removed from office.

Power drunk bureaucrats like our county manager (and city manager) need to be fired.

It is way past time to start punishing rogue judges. There are too many Soros judges in addition to Soros prosecutors. Here in North Carolina we have two Soros justices on our Supreme Court, one of whom, Anita "ANTIFA" Earls is up for election next year. The easier thing to do is vote these partisan leftwing hacks out of office.

One of the liberal special interests that Whatley prostituted himself for as a partner in that lobbying and public relations firm was Big Solar. Big Solar was also heavily supported by the man who brought Whatley into NC politics, Thom Tillis. This makes Whatley totally unacceptable as a nominee. He is nothing but Tillis 2.0, an establishment hack.

Don Brown has shown he understands energy and that "green energy" is an expensive and unreliable fraud. Brown is on the same side as Trump on energy, and Whatley is NOT. It is unfortunate that whoever has Trump's ear on North Carolina has steered him wrong, but then again, Trump was badly steered wrong on this seat last time, too, when he endorsed Tillis at one of his rallies, which was loudly booed by the MAGA crowd.

What that despicable scoundrel Phil Berger did to us on the NC Green New Deal, HB951 as totally rewritten at the last minute in the Senate is unforgivable. His rotten deal with Roy Cooper and with woke electric monopoly Duke Energy is already running up our power bills. Berger's HB951 is more radical that the European Union's Green Deal, which Europe's farmers call "climate communism".

Phil Berger needs to be run out of office on a rail. I am glad to see his own county sheriff is primarying him next year. Throw the scoundrel OUT.

Facts don't matter to those obsessed with the cult of Climate Scientology. Their scripture is rigged computer models. They rig the model so it will give the result that "proves" their theory.

One Climate Scientology throry that was put out some years ago was that all of the beaches around the world would be gone by 2024. It is now 2025. Has anyone checked Nags Head or Atlantic Beach lately? In fact has ANY beach anywhere disappeared?

'Nuf said!

After Climategate, what thinking person would EVER believe a climate alarmist? The best way to tell if they are lying is to look to see if their lips are moving.

With the City of Washington's outrageous 28% property tax increase this year, getting rid of them entirely is a great idea. But for revenues, something else would have to be taxed, and the most likely thing there would be consumption through a sales tax or VAT. We also ought to have a cap on local taxes so grasping politicians like the Sadler regime do not clobber taxpayers the way they have this year.

NO politician currently in office in Washington city government should be returned to office. They all are complicit in the tax ripoff and they all need to GO. Lets clean house in Washington in November. The city manager who proposed this outrage also needs his walking papers. Throw the rascals OUT.

If you like high electric rates, you will love the Democrats and RINOs and their War on Coal. HB951 was a travesty, and backstabbing Phil Berger pandering to Roy Cooper and to the woke utility monopoly Duke Energy is why it was foisted upon us in a last minute cram down.

At the same time corrupt Phil Berger was trying to shut down our local shrimping industry, a company that imports shrimp from Red China was undergoing a big expansion in the Norfolk area. Was crooked Berger on the payroll of the Red Chinese trying to cut out local shrimp production to hand the market to them? "China Phil" Berger needs to be voted out of office.

Beaufort County should never forget that Boss Berger gerrymandered our county into a Democrat senate district to gerrymander Senator Bill Cook out of office. The reason? Bill Cook was the leading Senate figure fighting against the "green energy" boondoggle, a boondoggle that Berger was in cahoots with the speical interests to impose on North Carolina.

Phil Berger is an enemy of eastern North Carolina and an enemy of conservatism. He is more devious and evil than even Marc Basnight thought about being. He is far worse than Basnight, but just as much of a legislative dictator.

This shows the need for some real voter education. I am afraid that there are too many ignorant "Michaels" out there who just do not get it about what this scheming city government has done with our taxes. Throw the Rascals OUT.

If a citizen says Washington did not have a tax increase, they are just clueless. When a city politician or city bureaucrat says that, he is lying through his teeth.

Our taxpayers should NOT be having to subsidize those in our county illegally through welfare. All we should give them is a plane ticket home. I hope President Trump will audit those states with these waivers and try to claw back the American taxpayer dollars they have squandered on illegal welfare for illegal aliens.

Seeing the far left globalists wreck a good company for political reasons is tragic. One of the linked articles gives a clue on why the company leadership is so "woke". Blackrock owns over 14% of its stock. Blackrock is run by the aptly named Larry Fink, a globalist kingpin who is a mover and shaker in Klaus Schwab's globalist totalitarian World Economic Forum in Davos. Blackrock pushing companies to do woke stuff that financially damages them is going against their fiduciary duties to their own investors and they ought to be sued for it.

Watch out North Carolina. Gov. Roy Cooper supported the same things on this climate scam as NJ Gov. Murphy and so does Josh Stein. The bad thing is that NC's own Green New Deal to shut coal power plants and replace them with wind and solar, HB951, was rammed through the legislature by RINO liberal Senate boss Phil Berger. Thanks of that buffoon Berger, NC is on the same path as NJ.

It was on the radio today that Maryland is now experiencing rolling blackouts due to wind and solar not providing enough power. Their coal plants are all gone and they have reduced gas plants. This will likely become endemic like it did in the state of South Australia when their Labour Party state government blew up all their coal plants so they could become the "wind superpower". Now rolling blackouts are an everyday occurence and having a home generator is essential, and they have even had their first statewide blackout due to wind farms shutting down due to strong spring storms.

Wind and solar are for morons and ideologues, oh, and also for RINOs Thom Tillis and Micheal Whatley.

This was only a minor rain event. Imagine that school site in a hurricane or other major rain event. I guess they can eliminate it as a candidate for a hurricane shelter. This whole school plan appears to have been concocted in the backroom by people with little real world business experience. It has sadly been a comedy of errors that unfortunately our school children will ultimately pay for, along with our suffering taxpayers. Beaufort County deserves better.

Phil Berger is responsible for pushing this loony left climate alarmist BS in North Carolina. One expects liberal Democrats like Roy Cooper to be for it and woke idiots like Duke Energy trying to get their ESG kudos from the left, but a stab in the back to consumers from a supposed Republican like Berger is hard to take. Good thing that he has a primary next year from the popular Republican sheriff of his home county. Throw the bum OUT!

The old Bear Grass public school was a victim of public school consolidation, but now as a charter school it is thriving and offering the best education in Martin County. If Cheeseman is arrogant enough to go after Bath school, I am absolutely certain the same would happen there. It would serve Chesseman right if it happened at Snowden.

Washington has a brazen liar for a city manager, who wantonly lied to the citizens when he claimed that the city had not imposed a tax increase this year. In truth, the manager's budget, adopted by a rubber stamp city council, gave city taxpayers a whopping 28% tax increase.

In revaluation years like this one, state law calculates a "revenue neutral" rate, one that would produce the same amount of revenue as the old tax rate based on the increased value of property. Any tax rate above that revenue neutral rate is, by state law as well as by the reality of what taxpayers have to pay, a tax increase.

The county adopted the revenue neutral rate for this year's taxes based on the rate calculated by state law. The City of Washington adopted a rate 28% above the revenue neutral rate. That is a massive tax increase.

Washington's city government is in a sad state of affairs. Not only does the city manager exercise way too much power for a bureaucrat, but the city council is a patheric joke. They are nothing but rubber stamps for Mayor Sadler, nothing but weak "yes men". Between the manager and the mayor, Washington has a Tammany Hall style government.

But the city manager had better watch out. Sadler would love to get rid of him so he can hire the city's first black city manager. With Sadler, it is as much about race as it is about power.

American taxpayers should not be paying for medical care for illegal aliens. Neither should American patients or their insurance companies be paying for it by jacked up medical bills to cover the illegal alien freeloaders. Except for acute emergencies, they should be sent back to their home countries for medical care.

Campbell ignores this huge hit to our hospitals, our taxpayers, and our citizens who pay for medical care or medical insurance.

NC has too many RINOs a/k/a "Undocumented Democrats" who pander to the solar and wind grifters. Berger is just one of them. Thom Tillis is another, as is Tillis' protege Michael Whatley. Whatley's lobbying / public relations firm pushed this solar boondoggle. These people are as big of enemies of the North Carolina consumer as the Democrats are.

The LaCivita connection explains a lot. One wonders if he is tied up in the Green New Deal boondoggle like Tillis and Whatley are. I guess NEVER TILLIS has now become NEVER WHATLEY. Whatley is just a warmed over Tillis. Will we ever learn?

One of the many liberal things Tillis and Whatley have in common is support for the green energy boondoggle. Whatley's history on that major issue is directly opposite Trump's position. Trump has called out climate alarmism as a hoax and is gutting the Biden wind and solar projects. Whatley is a former lobbyist for the corrupt solar energy grifters, pushing taxpayer money down that rat hole. Remember, one of the reasons Tillis gave for not supporting the Big Beautiful Bill was that it cut corrupt subsidies to wind and solar grifters.

NO, Whatley is NOT acceptable, any more than his mentor Tillis was.

A conservative congressman looking at this race just met with Trump, so maybe Trump will do the right thing on this one after all, or at least stay out of the primary.

It is hard to imagine that the Raleigh-based out of town school board attorney or the local superintendent were not aware that elections were partisan. Were they playing stall ball here to try to gain control of this seat? This is an 8 to 1 Republican board. Isn't having a school board attorney who is chairman of the Durham County DEMOCRATIC Party a conflict of interest? Wouldn't that be a likely motive for him failing to act on this matter for years?

This near-fiasco reeks of political hanky-panky.

North Carolina is on the same disastrous path as Europe thanks to special interest hack RINOs Phil Berger and Tim Moore, who forced North Carolina's Green New Deal, a total leftwing rewrite of HB951 through the General Assembly. It is more radical than the European Union's Green Deal, which Europe's farmers call "climate communism". Yes, we have climate communism here in North Carolina and it has been imposed on us by fake Republican "legislative leadership" who are nothing but disgusting special interest whores.

There is a term for those who want "to share in the prosperity of America" with lawbreakers who are illegally in our country. That term is SOCIALIST.

The influx of illegal aliens has contributed a lot to depressing the wages of our own citizens and driving up the housing costs of our own citizens. That has happened in all western countries where the illegal alien moochers have flooded in.

Any honest foreigner would apply to legally immigrate, not sneak across our border. Those Biden let in have included foreigners on the terrorist watch list and also members of multiple violent criminal gangs like MS13 and Tren de Aragua. A rise in illegal immigration in any western country is quickly followed by a rise in crime.

Read the polls, Bill Lee. Americans do not want these moochers in our country.

So two commissioners who claim on paper to be "Republican" are opposed to DOGE? Sounds like they are more Democrats in Drag or Undocumented Democrats. How could anyone who is a genuine Republican want to cover up waste, fraud, and abuse of tax money? Or to rely on the local deep state bureaucracy?
