If you bothered to read the linked article or even look at the chart in the post, Bobbie, you would know that the numbers are broken out specifically program by program for welfare, and the 59% number is for those who are on at least one of the different welfare programs. But you always seem to shoot from the hip instead of looking at facts and details.

I am most familiar with the seafood packing plants we used to have in eastern North Carolina, now mostly gone. Several decades ago they paid on a piece work rates, and those who got good at the repetitive process could make good money. In those days, most of the employees were black American ladies. Then the owners switched to low hourly wages and brought in illegal aliens to do the work. The black ladies lost their decent paying jobs, and before long the plants themselves started closing. A contractor I knew had a girlfriend who managed one of them. This is an example of what too often happens to American jobs from illegal immigration.

I had a former client who some years ago worked in a local chicken packing plant, and at that time most of the workers were like him, black American males. That has been years ago, and I have no idea if that plant has now gone the way of the seafood packing plants, but perhaps it has.

What part of "illegal" do you not understand. People who break the law should not be mollycoddled. There are lots of people who are applying to immigrate legally that we do not have room for. If we have extra immigration slots, they should go to those on the waiting lists who are applying legally, not to scoflaws who wantonly break our immigration laws.

Years ago, we had a legal and organized system of foreign migrant workers who applied for the program, had supervision, and went home when their work assignments were completed. It was called the Bracero program, but it was killed by the Democrats to butter up their labor union buddies. That would be a good program to have back.

I agree that action needs to be taken against those who employ illegal aliens, or assist them in any way in illegally entering or remaining in America. But 59% of them are on welfare, so maybe the welfare staff should be arrested or fined? I would support that, too.

Most of those "desperate people" are fraudsters lying about their false claims of "asylum" to game the system. They should be treated as the liars that most of them are. They should be polygraphed on their age and asylum claim and then sent back when they flunk the polygraph. Most are military aged males. Many of those who claim to be minors are actually adults lying about their age because they know that, unlike some European countries, nobody will check. The European countries that check have found that the majority, and as high as 90% of those claiming to be "unaccompanied minors" are actually adults lying about their age.

Local election results and national and state polls are extremely encouraging in Germany that the open borders crowd is about to be sent packing, but there is a lot of work, including a lof of deporting that needs to be done to solve the problem that has been created. They ought to copy the new conservative government in Sweden, which has just made accepted deported illegal aliens a condition for any country receiving foreign aid from Sweden.

Reducing welfare or cutting it off entirely to illegal aliens is an effective way to discourage them from coming. Iceland made them ineligible earlier this year to stop migrants from coming. When the first big flood of Middle Eastern migrants hit Europe, Denmark responded by reducing the amount of welfare they could get and advertising that fact in the "jumping off" areas for migrants like Turkey, adding that they did not want the migrants coming to Denmark.

I wish this chart had a breakout of the legal immigrants to distinguish between those coming as "refugees" and those coming through other avenues because their access to welfare is very different. If someone comes as a refugee, they are immediately entitled to all welfare programs. Biden, and Obama before him, have brought in lots of these refugees from places like Somalia. Other legal immigrants, on the other hand, have to prove that they will not become a public charge before their immigration is approved, must file an affidavit of support from an American citizen who will be financially responsible for them, and be inelgible for welfare by law for five years after arrival. I strongly suspect that it is the refugees, with their free welfare ride, who make up most of the legal immigrants who are on welfare.

Niki Haley is bad news. She has said she wants to let big corporations set our immigration policy, which would mean opening the floodgates as wide as possible. Haley is Biden in a skirt.

There needs to be a special prosecutor to deal with the refusal by the Biden regime to follow our duly adopted immigration laws, conspiring to allow the asylum abuse. The point of DC courts being politically corrupt is a valid one. That whole prosecution, prosecutor, grand jury, trial, and everything needs to be based in rural Texas, so we will get the right verdicts and heavy sentences for Biden, Mayorkas, and the rest of that treasonous bunch.

As usual, Bobbie is deflecting into his usual rut. The issue here is asylum abuse, which is a huge problem all over the western world, and needs some severe tightening up. Sinema is saying the right things, even if a looming election is motivating her to do it. We need to make asylum rules tight as a tick and we need to do some major deporting of illegal aliens.

Opposition to illegal immigration has become a huge issue all over the western world. It is showing up in a big way in European polls and elections, and it is going to take down the treasonous Biden regime here in the US. Hopefully the Germans will get a new election out of this to stop the bleeding and start cauterizing the wound.

Asylum abuse is what the left, the globalists, and the migrants themselves are using to flood western countries with illegal aliens. It needs a very severe crackdown. It is a good thing that this senator, who is facing election again next year, has wised up.
Commented: Friday, December 15th, 2023 @ 10:40 am By: borderhawk
Your comprehension level seems very low, Little Bobbie. If you are looking for a job or a better job, illegal aliens compete with you for those jobs. If you are on welfare, illegal aliens compete with you for government welfare services.

Government does need a severe crackdown on the illegal aliens themselves and those who help them. Those who give jobs to illegal aliens, house illegal aliens, and help illegal aliens enter the country all need to be prosecuted. The illegal aliens themselves need to be deported. We need President Trump or Governor deSantis in office to get that ball rolling.

The fact is that they are crowding out BOTH. Welfare usage among those with a migrant background is higher than among white or black Americans. Heck, in Germany, it is 62% of all welfare recipients, so that is what wew can expect here, too, now that Biden is copying Merkel's open borders. At the same time, migrants are competing with Americans for jobs. Yes, it is likely different sets of migrants on the welfare track than on the job track, although some may be double dipping.
Commented: Thursday, December 14th, 2023 @ 2:22 pm By: borderhawk
The answer is ALL of the above. Illegal aliens are crowding out American citizens for lots of things. I do not know what "jerbs" are, but I suspect it is a "woke" way to say "jobs".
Commented: Thursday, December 14th, 2023 @ 12:08 pm By: borderhawk
Competition from illegal aliens for jobs, housing, and government services poses an even greater threat to black Americans than white Americans, so it makes sense that many of them are waking up to this threat and responding.

New York City has long had a program to give out thousands of free turkeys for Thanskgiving to poor people, but this year no poor Americans got them. They all went ot illegal aliens. I suspect poor Americans in Chicago are likely seeing the same sort of things. New York also kicked poor American veterans out of their housing to give it to illegal aliens.

Mass migration is a threat to all of western civilization, and it needs to be stopped. Giving them welfare pays for our own demise, and that is one of the first things that needs to be stopped as it just encourages more illegals to come. We need to be dlecting deporters like President Trump here and Gert Wilders in the Netherlands and also secure our borders like the Hungarians and Poles have done.

Invasion of western countries by illegal aliens is becoming an issue for left wing as well as conservative voters. Anti-immigration parties of the left did well in the redent parliamentary election in Slovakia, for example.

It is time more voters on the left in the US paid attention. The recent demonstrations in black neighborhoods in Chicago vowing to vote Republican or Independent rather than Democrat over the influx of illegal aliens is one sign that voters of the left are indeed starting to pay attention here.

Every country that has seen an upsurge in illegal alien migrants / "asylum seekers" has also had a big increase in crime, including property crimes, assaults, and sex crimes. Lack of vetting of these interlopers is a big part of the problem. Many of them were criminals in their home countries.

For the US, another big part of the problem is that Mexican crime cartels charge them big fees to pass through their territory and some degree of help. They give credit for these fees, but know where their relatives are and the relatives are the collateral. If the fees are not paid, bad things happen to the relatives.

Every country that sees a big influx of illegal alien migrants / "asylum seekers" sees a big rise in sex crimes. It has been what has made once safe Sweden and Germany rivals as the rape capital of Europe. It is one of the reasons we need Donald Trump back (deSantis second choice) in the presidency to put a stop to the destructive open border policies of the traitor Biden, but NEVER NEVER NEVER Nikki Haley.

America has the exact same problem today with many NGOs being funded, often by the government to encourage illegal alien migrants to enter our country. It is time to pass a similar law and criminalize this conduct. Indeed, the leaders of these NGOs can probably be prosecuted under existing laws, and hopefully the post-2024 Trump administratin will do just that.

A French senator was also charged with "hate speech" for posting "immigration kills" after an illegal alien migrant brutally murdered a young French girl. The EU is becoming the Fourth Reich with the way it is suppressing free speech. Without free speech, there can be no democracy.

This is going to be interesting. I don't think Texas will back down. Hooray for Texas.

Next they need to start arresting federal personnel who damage Texas border barriers for damage to public property, and arrest that skinhead commie Mayorkas for conspiracy to damage state property. Mayorkas should be sitting in a Texas jail, preferably with illegal alien cellmates.

Biden is creating the very same situation in America that Merkel created in Germany with open borders policies. These must be reversed, and there are only two candidates trustworthy to do that, Trump and deSantis. Nikki Haley absolutely is NOT.

Giving free health care to illegal alien migrants is running up the cost to Americans of health care and health insurance. It is not just the Department of Veterans Affairs that is doing this. Freeloading illegal aliens are jamming American hospitals in many parts of the country. New York City, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, and California have it particularly bad. We need Trump back or deSantis to start massive deportation of these expensive freeloaders.

As usual, your information is very outdated, Bobbie. There is only one of the Koch brothers still alive. When the Koch apparatus went all-in on supporting illegal immigration and amnesty, and partnering with groups of the left to do so, they made themselves persona non grata among conservatives. The surviving Koch must have gone senile.

The Koch candidate for president, Nikki Haley illustrates just how far off track the Koch organization has gotten. Haley has said we should look to the desires of big companies on what to do on immigration, while she also wants to stamp out internet privacy.

Steve Bannon has told the Tucker Carlson program that the US is facing a much bigger outbreak of what is happening in Ireland over illegal immigration. It was also brought out that the Algerian immigrant who committed the mass stabbing at the elementary school had lived in Ireland for 23 years and never had a job.

It was not many years ago that the Irish people voted to end automatic citizenship by birth within Ireland and limited citizenship to those born in Ireland of at least one Irish parent. That Constitutional referendum passed overwhelmingly and was proposed in order to stop illegal aliens in the UK from flying on a domestic flight to Northern Ireland and crossing the border into Ireland to give birth so the child could get a European citizenship. It is not likely that the Irish public has changed their opinion of illegal aliens since that referendum passed by a landslide.

Varadkar is as woke and as globalist as it gets, and he is going hog wild on open borders. Ireland does need someone like Connor McGregor challenging this nonsense, and it is good to see him stepping up to the challenge.

There needs to be a special federal grand jury empanelled after Trump regains the presidency to investigate and criminally indict all of those who have been engaged in the criminal conspiracy to thwart our immigration laws. Federal officials from Biden and Mayorkas on down need to be investigated and charged and so do all of those running these crooked NGOs. The grand jury and the trials need to be in a district in rural Texas to enhance convictions.

Varadkar is a tyrant who wants to shut up opposition to his open borders policies by censorship, using repressive and totalitarian "hate speech" laws. They have now opened a criminal investigation of one of Ireland's top sports heroes for speaking out against Varadkar on the mass knifing at an elementary school by an Algerian immigrant.

How long until the American people get similarly fed up with the migrant invasion being foisted upon us by out of touch leftwing politicians and take matters into their own hands? Those leftwing politicians include RINO Sen. Thom Tillis.

The Irish government was dishonest in trying to tamp down public anger by telling half truths about the knifeman. First they said it was just "rumors" that he was a foreign national and then brazenly called him an "Irish national". In fact, he is a Muslim born in Algeria, who came to Ireland as an adult, and did have naturalized Irish citizenship. So, even after going through the motions of assimilation, he still broke bad.

Ireland has been seeing growing anti-migrant demonstrations, but they have all been peaceful until the reaction to this knife attack on elementary school children. I suspect this will become a big issue in Irish elections in the future, given the woke government continuing to promote mass migration into the country. Ireland will see its Geert Wilders.

This Dutch election will really shake up the globalists in Europe, coupled with the last Swiss election, Sweden, Italy, etc. and the strong showing by anti-immigration parties in polls in places like Germany, France, and Austria. With 2/3rds of parliament upset about illegal immigration, things are going to start happening, and Nexit would be nice, too.

Thom Tillis is a snake in the grass. He is an infiltrator, working for the enemy. A traitor in your own camp who stabs you in the back is even worse that an avowed enemy trying to stab you in the front. Tillis is absolutely unacceptable.

Asylum rules are being widely abused by economic migrants all over the world. It is worst in western countries like the US and Europe, but as South Africa shows, it is not exclusive to western countries. Junking those asylum rules as South Africa is doing is well justified, given all the abuse of them. There is another approach as used by Hungary and that is to not allow migrants already in a safe country to enter. Even under the present asylum rules, they can be turned back and they should be.

Weakness in dealing with illegal immigration brought down the last Dutch government, but is appears the new parliament will have a solid anti-immigration majority, and the main party responsible for weakness on illegal immigration will get trounced.
