Our local gas prices are being manipulated. I bought gas in Craven County west of New Bern Saturday for $3.38 a gallon. It was NOT a Speedway. Another station hereby was $3.39. This was several days after the prices in Washington were jacked up about 30 cents higher than that. Indeed, Greenville has always had the highest gas prices around and coming back through Greenville I saw quite a few stations cheaper than Washiington. We know who is manipulating our gas prices.

Race hustler Bob is so obsessed with race as usual, that he / she can't see the forest for the trees. Hitler's dictatorial powers were built by using executive action and bypassing the elected Reichstag. That is exactly what the Biden regime is doing. Government control of private business while leaving it in private ownership is a key element of fascist doctrine, and it is what Hitler did. Biden is on that same path which was known as "the corporate state" in the 1930s. Then there is gun control which is really people control, that was a part of Hitler's power play in the 1930s as it is in Biden's today.
If the Biden group goes racial / ethnic at all, their targets will not be the ones you mention, but will be Christian white straight males or people with one or more of those characteristics.

Your globalist narrative tells you that, Bolshevik Bob, but if you live in the real world, buy gas and groceries, for example, you would know the narrative is nothing but BS. The polls show that most Americans understand that. Here for example is a very recent one from CBS News, a knee jerk liberal source but that still shows real people do not agree with Biden's blather on the economy: www.cbsnews.com

That chart is instructive. Considering all the wasteful taxpayer subsidies of wind and solar, they provide only a tiny part of our energy needs. Biden wasted hundreds of billions more on that fools errand. This is nothing but a politically motivated boondoggle. The Democrats don't care how much they raise our electric rates just so they can pay hommage to their Climate Scientology cult.

Here is another lie from the climate alarmists, including the UN. As they whine about how hot it is this summer, they neglect to tell you that the percentage of the US that has reached 100 degrees F this summer is only 18%, which is a record low. The record high was in 1936, when it was 79%. 1936 was in the middle of the Great Depression, when industrial activity including production of CO2 had cratered.

Climate science has long known of the multi-century warming and cooling cycles the Earth goes through, and the last previous warming cycle, the Medieval Warm Period, was warmer than today for several hundred years. The biggest warm period, the Holocene Maximum, was much warmer than today for three thousand years. Northing bad happened to Earth in any of the previous warm periods. Indeed humanity suffered worse in the last cooling period, known as the Little Ice Age or the Maunder Minimum.
If one actually looked at how the greenhouse effect works, it is clear that the greenhouse effect is NOT involved in current warming. If the greenhouse effect went away, the Earth would be far too cold to sustain life. All of that is explained in that British TV documentary. Like most far lefts types, you take a small piece of information and twist it into something you claimi in major but it is not.

A physicist understands how all the processes involvee actually work, and can understand the fact that CO2 has never driven climate in the past and does not do so now. And the mad scientist in Sweden who invented the manmade CO2 global warming theory back in 1896 was, guest what?, a physicist. The theory had so little credibility that it was totally forgotten until someone dredged it up in 1981.
There are scientists expert on the climate and in fact who have attended the UN's climate chanage conferences who are interviewed in that British TV documentary who tear the manmade CO2 theory of global warming to shreds. The climate alarmist scientists rely on the voodoo science of computer modelling. When one sets up a computer model, they can set it up to produce whatever range of results they want. One of the sets of facts that disproves the manmade CO2 theory of global warming is the relationship between warming and the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. If CO2 caused warming, itcreases in it would precede warming, but it doesn't. Instead it does the opposite and lags substantially behind warming, meaning it is a RESULT of the warming, NOT a cause of it.

Commented on State Senate RINOs pushing for new ferry tollsThis ferry toll business would be bad for both the people and the economy of Beaufort County if it is not stopped in the legislature.
Stan, you are spot on when you call Perry "tone deaf". I checked into him when he screwed us on the Medicaid expansion, which is part and parcel of Obamacare. He is personally a multi-millionaire who in his own life does not have to worry about what things cost, so he just doesn't care about the financial burdens he places on others. He did not care that the Medicaid expansion would drive up health care costs and insurance costs for the rest of us. He does not care that the ferry tolls will be a financial burden on those who have to use the ferries daily to get to their jobs. He did not care that the Green New Deal he pushed will cause major increases in the electric bills for ordinary citizens and for small busiinesses. And Steven, you put it very mildly when you said you wished Perry would listen more to grassroots Republicans. The fact is that he does not listen at all. Perry's MO is to gather campaign money from special interests and then do their bidding in Raleigh. He had done nothing in the Republican Party when a Senate vacancy occured and Perry was looking for something to do after selling his company. He has spent no time in the party trenches and does not appreciate party activists or voters. Jim Perry is exactly the type of person that we do NOT need to be electing to public office. He does not seem to have been a major player in pushing the tolls, but he was in a position he could have fought it when it went through the Senate and failed to do so.

No, I am referring to the many senior scientists from prestigious institutions who were interviewed for that documentary on a major British TV network, Channel 4. You can watch it now on the internet but it was originally broadcast over the air throughout the UK. Little Bobbie just follows his globalist narrative and refuses to look at the real science. If he would just listen to those prominent scientists from around the world interviewed in that British TV documentary on the global warning scare, he would see the reams of scientific evidence that actively disproves the theory of manmade global warming by CO2.
And actually CO2 is beneficial. It is a necessary nutrient for plants. THe more of it in the atmosphere, the better plants grow. Eliminate it and all plants would die, soon followed by all animals once the food chain was gone.

Some lemmings will take the globalist narrative on climate alarmism as a cause, but thinking people look deeper instead of mindlessly following that ideological knee jerk position. The reality is that a number of natural climate cycles are in play. One is the annual cycle. It is summer and summer is hot. Another is a cycle that tends to last two or three years at a time called El Nino, which also brings hotter weather to North America. We are presently in a particularly strong El Nino cycle. The third is the multi-century warming and cooling cycles. For over a century we have been in a natural multi-century warming cycle, after coming out of a cooling cycle known as the Little Ice Age or Maunder Minimum in the 19th century. All of those cycles bring hotter weather.
CO2 has nothing to do with it. If you would follow the real science instead of the globalist science, you would be aware that CO2 increases do not precede warming phases, but instead FOLLOW them by several hundred years, meaning they are a RESULT of the warming, NOT a cause of it. Only the charlatans who promote it, and the witless fools who believe them, adhere to the climate alarmist dogma. You are clearly not smart enough to be among the charlatans cashing in on this hoax, so you would be one of the witless fools who can't figure out what is really going on, Bobbie.

Every bit of it is true, Lyin' Bob. There have been articles with links on most of it previously posted on this site. Your "none of this is true" posts always mean that all of it is true but it goes against your far left narrative. Ask a German about their power prices. Heck the German senator who sponsored Merkel's Energie Wende in the Bunderstag issued a public apology for all the damage it did several years ago, and at the time that was also posted with a link on this site.
Or ask someone from the Australian state of South Australia. When they had coal fired power, they had the cheapest residential electric rates in the world. Now that the Labour Party has imposed its "green energy superpower" policies and blown up all their coal power plants, their residential electric rates are higher than Germany. They have had their first statewide blackout due to failure of wind turbines, and have regular rolling blackouts.

Wind and solar are a disaster everywhere they have made significant inroads. They mean much higher energy prices for consumers and major risks of blackouts and brownouts.
Germany was an even earlier red flag on the problems of wind and solar. Angela Merkel's Energie Wende was the first major push to wind and solar and it has brought German electric rates that are three times what we pay in North Carolina and still rapidly rising. They have only been able to avoid blackouts by buying nuclear power from France and coal fired power from Poland. Energy prices tell a lot of the story, too. Electric rates in nuclear powered France are half of what they are in Germany, and those of coal-fired Poland even cheaper. France is starting a major building project of more nuclear power plants and Poland has awarded contracts for multiple nunclear plants, a first for them. Sweden and Finland have also recently rejected pushing wind and solar in favor of more nuclear power.

The hot air is coming from the climate alarmist trolls such as China Bob, who want to make us dependent on the ChiComs for our energy by pushing us into wind and solar where the supply chains are controlled by China. China and Russia have both spent a lot of money pushing this climate alarmism here and in Europe. Maybe China Bob is on their payroll.
China just flexed its muscles on control of the wind and solar supply chain by an export ban on some critical minerals needed for green energy such as galinium and germanium. That will force others to buy the finished products from Chinese manufacturers. China Bob clearly does not want to learn the real science that refutes the Climate Scientology cult, which he could learn easily enough by watching the British TV documentary "The Great Global Warming Swindle" which interviews a lot of prominent scientists who blow the global warming theory to pieces. Chinese troll Bob may not get it, but warming and cooling cycles occur naturally, and are not manmade, no matter what the wizzards of the Climate Scientology cult try to tell you. That applies to the natural annual Winter-Spring-Summer-Fall-Winter cycle and to the multi-century heating and cooling cycles. These multi-century cycles have existed since the Earth has existed and have nothing whatsoever to do with CO2. The last warming cycle, the Medieval Warm Period ended when natural forces caused it to end, not anything man did or did not do. Then we had a cooling cycle known as the Little Ice Age that ended in the 19th century. Now we are in a natural warming cycle again, and it will end when it ends. The granddaddy of warming cycles, known as the Holocene Maximum lasted 3,000 years but ultimately reversed to a cooling cycle. The Medieval Warm Period was warmer than today and the Holocene Maximum much warmer, but neither had the apocolyptic results the Climate Alermists of today whine about. The Holocene Maximum, in fact, included the hayday of ancient Greek civlization.

Things we buy in Walmart do not involve the security of our energy grid. While the possibility of China installing things we do not know about may indeed be a risk, I am more concerned about making ourselves dependent on China for our energy. Wind and solar makes us dependent on China for our energy more than oil ever did on the Middle East, and that is dangerous when China is our major geo-political adversary. It is not just the finished products of the wind turbines and solar panels, but many of the raw materials necessary for them. China has already started playing games with some of those raw materials. We have our own coal, oil, and gas, and we do not depend on China for nuclear power raw materials or equipment.

Commented on Southern Africa Freezing"Rising sea levels" has been one of the climate alarmist myths that just doesn't hold water. For a time the UN used to use the South Pacific islands nations of Tuvalu and Kiribati as poster boys for "rising sea level" saying they would be the first countries consumed by the sea. However, a funny thing happened. A university in Australia decided to measure how fast the islands were disappearing, using recon maps from World War II and comparing them to aeriel photographs from today. When they did the comparision, they found that most of the islands were actually growing not shrinking, and at least they had the honesty to publish their findings, even though they put egg on the face of the climate alarmists and the UN.
With all the climate alarmist oracles like Al Gore and Barack Obama buying multi-million dollar seafrong mansions, it is clear that even they do not really believe the hogwash about rising sea levels. After all, actions speak louder than words, as the old saying goes. Heck if we believed some of Al Gore's early rantings, Florida would not be here today. Then, of course, there are the documented warm periods of the past, like the multi-century Medieval Warm Period, when it was warmer than today. None of the low lying port cities of that era got flooded by "rising sea levels". Thats a fact! Or the granddaddy of all warm periods, the Holocene Maximum, which was much warmer than today and lasted three thousand years. It corresponded with the Bronze Age of human development, when ancient Greek culture thrived. We know where the coastal cities of ancient Greece were located, and again, there was clearly no "rising sea level" inundating them. The facts do not fit your whack-a-doodle theory.

True pollution from burning fossil fuels is negligable in the western world thanks to scrubbers on smokestacks, but you climate crazies want to call CO2 (a necessary nutrient for plants), "pollutions" which it is not. Even there, the "carbon footprint" of a wind turbine is massive. stopthesethings.com
Then there are all the trees cut down to build the land intensive wind and solar farms. Asked on an FOI request, Scottish Forestry, the official government agency, calculated that 13.1 million trees had been cut down just on government land in Scotland to build wind and solar farms. They did not keep records on private land. That is a lot of trees that are no longer taking in CO2 in photosynthesis and releasing oxygem. And the same thing is happening in all countries that jump on the wind / solar crazy train.
