I know the woke community does not want to hear this or agree but for the short time that I was in the Army the program was to teach us how to break things and kill people. It is unfortunate, but war is Hell and people have to be trained to face that if we plan to win a war.

I was blocked by three people when I went to vote who explained to me that the amendment for citizen ship was poorly written, and we needed to vote against it. These were all working from the Democrat Tent. They have a right to express their opinion and hand out material, but I was pushing my wife in a wheelchair, and they literally surrounded us and blocked our way while they made their pitch.

We need to help our church friends understand the importance of voting in this election to protect our U.S. Constitution, children, family, right to worship, and protecting the unborn. We will not find a perfect politician but Donald Trump is our best choice. Those concerned about his morals might remember the statement from our Savior, "He who is without sin, let him cast the first stone".

We are currently in hurricane season. What happens if Eastern NC gets hit in the next few weeks? Longshoreman strikes, Prices, Boats with supplies offshore, no money for recovery. Go Brandon!!

Bob might review the story by Anderson, "The Emperor's New Clothes".
The tale concerns an emperor who has an obsession with fancy new clothes, and spends lavishly on them, at the expense of state matters. One day, two con-men visit the emperor's capital. Posing as weavers, they offer to supply him with magnificent clothes that are invisible to those who are incompetent or stupid.
Washington now has so many con men dipping into the money stream and spreading
Inuendos, stealing and lying that it is now just a way of life. And we just sit back and say, "Thank you sir, may I have another".

We hear from more than one source that Harris lied about 21 or more times.
One quick reply came from one of the moderators, correcting Trump, that no State allowed the killing of a baby after the 7th month. Fact-checkers found more than one and one up to after birth.
Lying has become a way of life for Newscasters and politicians. Where do we find the truth?
What is the yardstick we should use? How about the Bible and the Constitution? They are pretty good handbooks.

One of the schools in Wake Forest NC is teaching Mandarin as a second language. I guess they are ahead of the times. Let's add Russian and we will have a complete curriculum.

Someone help me with the rules. I understand that the State DPE requires that the students meet end-of-grade testing. The Curriculum is left up to the School Board. The Board would ask for professional input from the Superintendent but he does not make the final decision on the Curriculum. Based on the near-filing grades of eight of our thirteen schools, it looks like we need to take a good look at the the board and the administration.

I know this sounds like a conspiracy theory, but could this have been an intentional error of omission? There are “Trump Haters” and those who fear the aftermath of a Trump victory as well as those who are being misled by legal propaganda from network TV. This was an attempt by a no-name no-ties individual that would not be traced to any group but was just allowed to slip through the cracks. The Swamp is so mirky now and the rot runs so deep. Where do we find the truth?

With the breakdown of our law and order, I guess Death Threats to not count.

Federal law prohibits transmitting "any threat to injure the person of another" and penalizes such threats with five years in prison. But not all threats are created equally, and the Supreme Court has determined that only "true threats" can be punished.

My Dad was a self-educated man who had a lot of common sense. One thing he taught me, which I have always remembered, is "Consider the Source". We would do well to do just that as we read or listen to the internet.

I see very little news about this in other publications. My feeling is that the general public is not aware of this debacle. I checked with WITN but no reply. This failed system started in the late 80s when school consolidation was the coming thing. We have proven that to be a failure. Why are we continuing with this failed system? Change the method. Change the results.

We have capable people running for the Beaufort County School Board to replace some of the Do-nothing ones on there now. The public was able to sidetrack one liberal Social Studies program where the second choice was a program on "How to Confront the church". Hillsdale College offers a conservative curriculum that is free, and the Board will not entertain looking at it. The local board can set the curriculum. What is being done to help our large group of students who are now four years behind? We need a change in the board and administration. It is not the teacher's fault. How about 8 out of 13 schools rated a D by the Department of Education? "Change the method, change the result".

We are doing really good here in Beaufort County, compared to big cities like Chicago, which has a reading proficiency of 27% of students. Beaufort County is all the way up to 35%. Whoopee! That means 65% are not. Why is that?

There is something wrong with belonging or aligning yourself with Hamas. They are a terrorist organization. When do we draw the line on allowing terrorists to openly proselyte in America? Are we forgetting October 7th?

When Democrats realize that their party has left them. It is no longer the Democrat Party of yesterday. Like Boy Scouts and some other great organizations rot has crept in and destroyed it. We all need to look at what is right and not what is Party.

In the News and Observer this morning:
Here’s a look at today’s headlines and news updates.
A committee of the UNC System Board of Governors made its first move to potentially eliminate diversity, equity and inclusion efforts at the state’s 16 public universities. While the full 24-member board needs to vote on the policy before it takes effect, there are many questions about what it would mean for diversity and job cuts. If passed, the UNC System would follow in the footsteps of other institutions around the country that are ending or reducing DEI efforts.

We can work on this at a local level by changing our Beaufort County school board. Look at what you are getting from the management that you have. It is not all teacher's fault. Many are dedicated and committed to their profession. However, they are hindered by the curriculum. This can be changed by a more conservative school board.

To add insult to injury, look at your reports on the cost of procedures and hospital care that the medical community is charging the healthcare system. For starters, we need to get rid of CON and install Tort Reform. This would help bring back GPs and create competition to improve our healthcare services. If you are not on Medicare, your health insurance is through the roof.

In 1965, Paul Harvey decided to warn America because he foresaw this time in America's future when it was going to be attacked not by a foreign foe but domestically by the forces that ended up being the Democrat Party. In an attempt to knock some sense into America, he broadcast his monumental essay "If I were the devil" on radios all over the country. I do not know whether or not Paul Harvey knew that by describing the identity markers of the Devil in 1965, he was describing the attributes of today's Democrat Party. The similarities are shocking. Will you see for yourself?
Printed in the Alabama Gazette July 1, 2019. "If I Were the Devil" by Paul Harvey.

Old satan must be laughing with glee as he surveys this world. And while he is doing what he is doing, we will sit by and let him by not getting involved; not going to a school board meeting; and not doing our part to clean up the corruption and dumb decisions in our local, State, and Federal Government.

Biden wears aviator-style sunglasses like some of the former dictators in other countries from the past. Based on his decisions and rhetoric, he seems to be living in his own little world. There is a term for this kind of behavior. It is known as Cognitive Distortion. (an exaggerated or irrational thought pattern involved in the onset of Perpetuation of psychopathological states, such as depression and anxiety) It can also cause distortions of thought that cause individuals to perceive reality inaccurately. Some of his decisions and concepts seem to fit this pattern.

Brinson introduced himself to me while I was working at the polls. He told me Raleigh was glad to see Speciale go. Carry was one problem. Casinos will be the next. Brinson has no experience in the position that he is seeking and maybe he is also too dumb to know what is happening to him. He is now a bought and paid for Burgernite to be led around by the nose. It is too bad that the uninformed voters put him in. It goes to show you how little our local people keep up with what is happening. Add another Rino to the brood.

Mike Speciale was called the "Conscience of the House". Burger does not want someone like that playing in his sandpile. One of Mike's handbooks is the Constitution. That gets in the way of these progressive power brokers.

We need Quotas, background checks, and controlled entry for all immigrants. Citizenship laws should be reviewed and made realistic. Non-citizens should be treated as non-citizens. Non-citizens should not have voting rights or welfare privileges. Those breaking the law of unlawful entry or criminal offenses should be deported.

Lord Acton writes to Bishop Creighton that the same moral standards should be applied to all men, political and religious leaders included, especially since “Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely” (1887)

In “Animal Farm” we find that some pigs are more equal than others.

It seems that Power makes men blind to morality more than money. Many seem to start out with the right attitude in Raleigh and then quickly get inoculated with this blind push for power. This seems to be the case with Burger and Moore.

We know what we are getting with Speciale. He proved his position and staying power with 4 terms in the House. On leaving he was called, “The conscience of the House”. Hardly something we could tag Tim Moore, Phil Burger, or Bob Brinson with.
