Well Stacey, you appear shockingly normal.
The point of question 2 was to emphasize that although parents have rights, no one parent has the right to make decisions for everyone. A school system cannot cater to the crazies on either side and should be open to including a diverse perspective not just the dominant culture's perspective.

Here is an honest question. I notice that most MAGA conservatives will dislike anything perceived as liberal. Example, you point out problems in electric cars. That's fair. They have drawbacks.
But, you never seem to have an issue with status quo. As in never a bad word for fossil fuel cars. They have drawbacks too.

Do you think it wise to oppose any and all progress just to keep burning FFs the rest of your lives? Are you willing to cut your nose off to spite your face? I could give countless examples. What gives?

Not bad answers Stacey but I would ask clarification on question 2:

One cannot teach in a vacuum. Not all learning is just about "facts". Example: Its a fact that there was a US civil war. I would venture that fact might be the only thing the folks in BC would agree on. With respect to the war. It happened. Everything else, we argue about.

Beyond facts, kids need to learn critical thinking skills. How do we go about that?
