I have a good former neighbor who was an abused wife. She was convicted and served time and now cannot vote because her record cannot be cleared after years of requests.

Even her jailers said, "If I had been in your shoes I would not have waited so long to get his attention! Justice is not always fair or balanced and it certainly should be able to be corrected when applied wrongly.
