Reps from Lt. Gov's office, NCSU Friday Institute offers details in JLF speech

RALEIGH     The N.C. State Board of Education will learn Wednesday details of a plan for helping public schools make better use of digital technology. Some of the plan's architects shared key themes of their work Monday with the John Locke Foundation's Shaftesbury Society.

Jeni Corn and Trip Stallings, director of evaluation programs and director of policy research respectively at N.C. State University's Friday Institute for Educational Innovation, and Jamey Falkenberry of the N.C. lieutenant governor's office outlined major components of the Digital Learning Plan.

In the video clip below, all three speakers address an audience question about whether North Carolina's public schools have adequate computer hardware and software to put the plan in place.
