On Saturday night, Elon Musk expressed his repugnance for those who would address war by using catch-phrases or words rather than action, reacting to a nightclub in Berlin that posted the word "PEACE" in giant letters while the war between Ukraine and Russia rages on. Musk tweeted, "They wrote PEACE on the wall at Berghain! I refused enter."

He continued, "Peace. Peace? I hate the word. Those who do care about peace (myself aspirationally included) don't need to hear it. And those who don't care about peace? Well ..."

The German news service Deutsche Welle noted of Berghain, which it called "one of the most famous clubs in the world":

It is housed in a massive steel and concrete building, surrounded by a large property in Berlin's Friedrichshain district - a great party location because there are no direct neighbors. Since 2004, party people from all over the world have flocked to what was once an East German heat and power plant. ...

People who want to enter the club have to stand in line for hours - with eager clubgoers waiting up to 7 hours on Berghain's reopening night. They may or may not get in - the bouncers are unpredictable. Berghain is known to have the toughest door policy in Berlin. ...

Photos are not allowed. Cellphone cameras are taped off at the door. Anyone caught taking pictures is in trouble and kicked out - because apart from taking pictures, everything is allowed, and people are supposed to feel free and unobserved.

Musk has been forthright about which side he stands on regarding the Ukraine-Russia war; on March 14 he tweeted, "I hereby challenge Vladimir Putin to single combat. Stakes are Ukraine."

He added, "Do you agree to this fight?"

On March 4, he tweeted simply, "Hold strong Ukraine," adding, "And also my sympathies to the great people of Russia, who do not want this."

On February 26, as The Daily Wire reported, Mykhailo Fedorov, the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, tweeted at Musk, "@elonmusk, while you try to colonize Mars - Russia try to occupy Ukraine! While your rockets successfully land from space - Russian rockets attack Ukrainian civil people! We ask you to provide Ukraine with Starlink stations and to address sane Russians to stand."

Ukraine then highlighted the tweet, writing: "Dear @elonmusk, Ukraine needs your support. Your stance and your actions matter. An appeal by our Minister of Digital Transformation here."

Musk responded less than four hours later, "Starlink service is now active in Ukraine. More terminals en route."

Fedorov thanked Musk, tweeting, "Starlink terminals are coming to Ukraine! Thank you @elonmusk , thank you everyone, who supported Ukraine!" The Ukrainian government added, "Thanx, appreciate it."
