Anti-McConnell conservative Nate Morris is frontrunner to succeed MItch McConnel in KY | Eastern NC Now

in primary with two McConnell allies

ENCNow

The successor to uber-RINO US Senator Mitch McConnell in Kentucky appears likely to be someone very different from McConnell.  Businessman Nate Morris is running as a hardcharging Trump conservative in a primary with two candidates who praise McConnell as their mentor.  The establishment wing is represented by Congressman Andy Barr, a brazen opportunist who calls himself "center-right" and former Attorney General Daniel Cameron who once served on McConnell's senate staff.  Seasoned Kentucky political observers increasingly view first time candidate Morris as the frontrunner.

Morris had 1,300 supporters turn out for Morris' campaign kickoff south of Louisville Sunday where he declared that "career politicians have driven our country off a cliff" and pointed out that neither of his opponents have ever had a real job.   Morris hit the airwaves with an ad that features each of his opponents praising McConnell while he speaks of "destroying the McConnell machine".  Morris tied himself to Trump by first announcing his candidacy on Donald Trump, Jr.'s podcast, and has called for a moratorium on all immigration, legal or illegal, to the United States.

Mitch McConnell has been a Biden "Republican" and before that an Obama "Republican". We do not need any more of his ilk. He has been a lot like Tillis. WE should all be sending Nate Morris some campaign checks. Morris will be a REAL Republican.
