The Democrats have been braying constantly about "affordability" but their own plans would cost consumers lots of extra money, as we saw under Biden. Their "affordability" plan on housing for example is a carbon copy of the one tried by Spain's recently removed Socialist government, where it was a disaster.

You Leftists hate Donald Trump so much, you have completely forgotten that it was the governors that either opened their states or shut down their states for fsr too long during Covid, which has been one the is a biggest reasons of the current mass migration from "Blue States" to "Red States."

The lockdowns, which were the huge problem, were a state by state decision, not a federal one. North Carolina followed the authoritarian path of Red China under Roy Cooper as opposed to the path of Sweden.

The somebody who claimed to never be wrong but usually was wrong was Anthony Fauci, a high level bureaucrat who was not a political appointee of Trump. Fauci was hardly MAGA, as in his diary that has been made public he wrote that he wanted Trump impeached over building the border wall.

I would be very careful selecting those that would representing my values if I was a Democratic Socialist.

Covid was a Democrat directed disaster. What hurt us was the insane lockdowns. The states and countries that did NOT lockdown and allowed life to continue, from Sweden to Florida ended up with lower Covid deaths and kept their economies going. Only morons like NC Fuehrer, err, Governor Roy Cooper hurt their economies and also public health by severe lockdowns. Thankfully in our state, Rep. Keith Kidwell took the bull by the horns and arranged lawsuits where federal judges reopened our churches and many businesses, overruling dictatorial Cooper.

As to the idiotic "Inflation Reduction Act", it was nothing but the Green New Deal in disguise, which, yes, raised our electric rates, INCREASING inflation.

Actually, it wasn't. in 2024, the country was coming out of COVID with all the problems it caused globally. During 2024 we began to recover and investments made a lot of money and things were good. When Trump took over the good times were back and investments have continued to grow. We are all making money.

IMO COVID cost Trump the 2020 election because his job required to him do what's best for the country, not him personally. He wasn't equipped to deal with a global problem like COVID and it sank him.

That my friends is the main reason I can't support him or MAGA. When things are good, they do OK, when the chips are down, they look out for themselves.

Democrats speak with a forked tongue on "affordability". Just look at their "Inflation Reduction Act" that did nothing to reduce inflation but instead just made electricity more expensive. It was all a fraud.
