I do not know if there is a class in teacher school on how to deal with class clowns, but one of my teachers at CHS knew how to handle my excesses and he did so without saying a word. Below are a couple of examples of my boisterous behavior in class.

I heard one of the pundits on the morning news make a statement that struck me a very profound. Speaking about the bombing in Manchester, England, he stated that England is the most surveilled country in the world. Manchester is 2nd behind London as the most surveilled city in England.

One of our Clarkston High School cheerleaders has left us due to a severe stroke and God's healing powers. . . We all grieve her loss / have fond memories of her smile and good cheer / her daughter puts it this way.

I just returned from a visit to my almost 97-year-old mother in Atlanta. We stayed with my classmate from Clarkston High School 1963. He and his wife are both in the same class with me so we are all Baby boomers now reaching the final stage of marriage---RETIREMENT YEARS.

It is hard to believe how fast time flies. When I was 18 major things were happening in our country. I was fully aware of Selma and the march because Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a resident of Atlanta.
