One of the UK's scientific advisors calls masks "comfort blankets" that do nothing to stop the spread of the virus. Dr. Colin Axon of the UK's SAGE committee pointed out that while masks can stop droplets containing the virus, that is not how the virus primarily spreads. Most transmission is by fine aerosol particles and the gaps between the mask fibers are 5,000 times larger than those particles.

The two school boards did separate but related things. The new social studies curriculum (which ought to be called socialist studies it is so biased) is impregnated with CRT. However the Brunswick County resolution banned CRT without specifically mentioning the social studies curriculum. In Moore County, an earlier resolution to ban CRT broadly had failed 4 to 3, and the resulting blowback from the public likely influenced this later unanimous resolution on the curriculum, which does not address the broader CRT issue. The Moore County school board has 3 staunch conservatives who beat incumbents in the last election and 4 RINOs who are up in the next election, and as is common with public schools, a very liberal superintendant.

This woman is rather ignorant of history to blame the Confederate States or the south for slavery. Has she never heard of the Corwin amendment to the US Constitution for example? It was adopted by the northern controlled US Congress in March 1861 by the required supermajority, submitted to the states for ratification, and endorsed in his first Inaugural Address by Abraham Lincoln. The Corwin amendment would have enshrined slavery in the US Constitution and made it impossible to abolish from the national level. That was what the NORTH proposed in March 1861. Then there is the question of who was responsible for bringing the slaves over here. After a brief period when it was run from Bristol, England, the trans-Atlantic slave trade bringing slaves to North America was operated out of the New England states. That's right. It was the northerners who brought the slaves over. There are no recorded instances of slave trading ships based in the southern colonies or southern states. If anyone has to pay reparations, it should be the New England states because it was people from there who bought the slaves in Africa from black tribesmen like the Ashanti and transported them to North America.

The NC bill to ban CRT is being bottled up by Phil Berger in the NC Senate. It has passed the House. Berger is bottling up a lot of conservative bills like the one to strip the governor of the emergency powers that Cooper has grossly abused. Is Phil Berger carrying water for Cooper or does he just lack the 'nads to move on these bills?

So-called "Critical race theory" is a very racist doctrine that should not be allowed, much less promoted in schools. He was never planning on it, and this fantasy of conservative Freedom Caucus member Ted Budd doing a kamakazi mission for the establishment has been just nuts all along. The MSM is playing their usual coverup game to control the narrative on this terror incident for their own political purposes. First it was withholding the identity of the shooter for a grossly unreasonable period of time to let gun control and white supremacy memes flourish. Now they are withholding the contents of the shooters social media posts. Those are being reported on talk radio, but they are hard to find in the MSM. It turns out that the shooter posted about his allegiance to ISIS, his hatred of Trump, his hatred of white people who he considered anti-Islam, lots of Muslim religious fervor, and his desire to kill people. All of his victims were white. What does that tell you about his motives? America needs immigration control, not gun control, but the Democrats want to let lots of others like this despicable terrorist shooter into our country with no real vetting.
