If you are referring to the Climategate emails by the climate alarmist politicized scientists, yeah what they were doing trying to cancel any scientist with a different opinion was surely political and not real science, but that is characteristic of the climate alarmist mad scientists.

No, I am referring to the many senior scientists from prestigious institutions who were interviewed for that documentary on a major British TV network, Channel 4. You can watch it now on the internet but it was originally broadcast over the air throughout the UK.

Or there is the 2022 Nobel Prize winner in physics, Dr. John Clauser who wrote: "The popular narrative about climate change reflects a dangerous corruption of science that threatens the world's economy and the well-being of billions of people"

Some lemmings will take the globalist narrative on climate alarmism as a cause, but thinking people look deeper instead of mindlessly following that ideological knee jerk position. The reality is that a number of natural climate cycles are in play. One is the annual cycle. It is summer and summer is hot. Another is a cycle that tends to last two or three years at a time called El Nino, which also brings hotter weather to North America. We are presently in a particularly strong El Nino cycle. The third is the multi-century warming and cooling cycles. For over a century we have been in a natural multi-century warming cycle, after coming out of a cooling cycle known as the Little Ice Age or Maunder Minimum in the 19th century. All of those cycles bring hotter weather.

CO2 has nothing to do with it. If you would follow the real science instead of the globalist science, you would be aware that CO2 increases do not precede warming phases, but instead FOLLOW them by several hundred years, meaning they are a RESULT of the warming, NOT a cause of it. Only the charlatans who promote it, and the witless fools who believe them, adhere to the climate alarmist dogma. You are clearly not smart enough to be among the charlatans cashing in on this hoax, so you would be one of the witless fools who can't figure out what is really going on, Bobbie.

Your "none of this is true" posts always mean that all of it is true but it goes against your far left narrative. Ask a German about their power prices. Heck the German senator who sponsored Merkel's Energie Wende in the Bunderstag issued a public apology for all the damage it did several years ago, and at the time that was also posted with a link on this site.

Or ask someone from the Australian state of South Australia. When they had coal fired power, they had the cheapest residential electric rates in the world. Now that the Labour Party has imposed its "green energy superpower" policies and blown up all their coal power plants, their residential electric rates are higher than Germany. They have had their first statewide blackout due to failure of wind turbines, and have regular rolling blackouts.

Chinese troll Bob may not get it, but warming and cooling cycles occur naturally, and are not manmade, no matter what the wizzards of the Climate Scientology cult try to tell you. That applies to the natural annual Winter-Spring-Summer-Fall-Winter cycle and to the multi-century heating and cooling cycles. These multi-century cycles have existed since the Earth has existed and have nothing whatsoever to do with CO2. The last warming cycle, the Medieval Warm Period ended when natural forces caused it to end, not anything man did or did not do. Then we had a cooling cycle known as the Little Ice Age that ended in the 19th century. Now we are in a natural warming cycle again, and it will end when it ends. The granddaddy of warming cycles, known as the Holocene Maximum lasted 3,000 years but ultimately reversed to a cooling cycle. The Medieval Warm Period was warmer than today and the Holocene Maximum much warmer, but neither had the apocolyptic results the Climate Alermists of today whine about. The Holocene Maximum, in fact, included the hayday of ancient Greek civlization.

CAn't you get it through your think skull, that the issue is not what they do with the money, but that we do not need China controlling our energy, which happens if we depend on forms of energy like wind and solar where China controls the supply chain of both necessary finished products and raw materials. No, I do not like them having our money either, but this is a MUCH larger issue than that.

The important thing is NOT to be dependent on China for our energy, which we are if we use mainly wind and solar, because they are the ones who make most of the equipment and even beyond that provide many of the raw materials to make that equipment. It is more dangerous than being dependent on the Middle East.

"Rising sea levels" has been one of the climate alarmist myths that just doesn't hold water. For a time the UN used to use the South Pacific islands nations of Tuvalu and Kiribati as poster boys for "rising sea level" saying they would be the first countries consumed by the sea. However, a funny thing happened. A university in Australia decided to measure how fast the islands were disappearing, using recon maps from World War II and comparing them to aeriel photographs from today. When they did the comparision, they found that most of the islands were actually growing not shrinking, and at least they had the honesty to publish their findings, even though they put egg on the face of the climate alarmists and the UN.

With all the climate alarmist oracles like Al Gore and Barack Obama buying multi-million dollar seafrong mansions, it is clear that even they do not really believe the hogwash about rising sea levels. After all, actions speak louder than words, as the old saying goes. Heck if we believed some of Al Gore's early rantings, Florida would not be here today.

Then, of course, there are the documented warm periods of the past, like the multi-century Medieval Warm Period, when it was warmer than today. None of the low lying port cities of that era got flooded by "rising sea levels". Thats a fact! Or the granddaddy of all warm periods, the Holocene Maximum, which was much warmer than today and lasted three thousand years. It corresponded with the Bronze Age of human development, when ancient Greek culture thrived. We know where the coastal cities of ancient Greece were located, and again, there was clearly no "rising sea level" inundating them.

The facts do not fit your whack-a-doodle theory.

Republicans have a fair amount of decent legislators in Raleigh, but the leadership in both houses is abysmal. Tim Moore is an embarassment and hopefully he will be gone by the short session so he gets forgotten in the 2024 election. I was utterly appalled by the cave-in on the Obamacare Medicaid expansion, gambling, and marijuana this session, together with allowing Blue Cross to loot its reserves.

Here is an example of pollution dumped on neighbors by a fire in a wind turbine in New York. The bond posted by the wind turbine owner was far short of the damages from fiberglass particles spewed on their property.

Those living near solar farms should have their land tested. There might be a big payday from solar farm owners and operators.

This is climate alarmism run amuck, and very dangerous to plants and animals on Earth. If the predictions of many astronomers are correct, the Earth is about to enter a period of low solar activity, which will naturally cool temperatures. The Earth's most recent cold period, which climatologists call the Little Ice Age from the 15th to 19th centuries corresponds exactly to what astronomers refer to as the Maunder Minimum, a period of very low solar activity. When solar activity perked up in the 19th century, we have seen the current warming period.

Reducing sunlight will have the effect of stiffling plant growth, and therefore food production. These idiots are playing with fire.

Wind and solar are in a class by themselves on federal subsidies, a massive amount of money. There is no way they could stand on their own two feet competing with more efficient means of energy production. What the left calls "subsidies" for other power sources are mainly just normal tax code provisions that apply to expenses of all businesses. With wind and solar, however, it is massive direct payments to the grifters who build it. Indeed, those grifters often build a solar or wind facility, pocket the subsidies, and then sell the solar or wind facility for peanuts because they have gotten their profit from the government subsidy.
