Yes, Governor Abbot does need to give his National Guard robust rules of engagement to stop the illegal alien invasion. Demonstrations of force like firing blanks or firing in the air is the very minimum. Hungarian border guards have fired their guns to turn back an illegal alien incursion, and so have Greek border guards, in the latter case killing a few of the invaders. If they are apprehended on our side of the border, they need to be force marched back to the other side of the border. It is way past time to quit pussy-footing around.

Tillis is also a member of a Senate "gang" with some Democrats that wants to push amnesty for illegal aliens. I wonder if they will make a play on that, too.

Those who help illegal aliens invade western countries should be charged criminally as accessories to human smuggling. Hungary has already passed its "anti-Soros" law that very specifically makes this a felony, but other countries, including US states, have laws against human smuggling, and those who assist the illegal aliens should be charged as accessories to that crime and sent to prison.

WE have some slimy politicians in the US at all levels, including Roy Cooper, and county commissioners Ed Booth and Frankie Waters here in Beaufort County who pander to illegal aliens. While there are no crimes to charge them with, voters should take notice and toss them out of office.

Corey Rogerson is the sort of sleazy politician who is telling everybody what he thinks they want to hear right now, even if it means talking out of both sides of his mouth, but what would he do if by some stretch he actually got elected? With woke Herman Gaskins as a string puller, it is not out of the question for him to make Beaufort County a sanctuary county for illegal aliens. I never trust "front man" politicians like Corey Rogerson.

FAFSA is supposed to protect against illegal aliens using taxpayer money to attend our community college??? This is a federal program, and federal programs have turned a blind eye to illegal aliens in many respects. What actual checking do they do beyond just the applicant claiming he is a citizen?

A good example of how how stupid or diabolical feds just take illegal aliens' word for things, they do nothing to verify the actual age of someone who claims to be an "unaccompanied minor". They just take their word for it when they claie to be 16 or 17. European countries that have taken steps to verify age have found that over half of those claiming to be "unaccompanied minors" are in fact adults who are lying about their age. In Norway they actually found it was 90% of them lying that way.

Illegal aliens are very prone to buying social security numbers that are not theirs but will pass muster, so they can be very sneaky about these things.

Verification of legal status is critical any time our tax money is involved. I would also note that FAFSA is available to "qualified non-citizens" who at the moment do not seem to be illegal aliens, but who knows with the Biden regime how that might change.

The illegal alien who stabbed all those people in Las Vegas has a criminal record in the sanctuary state of California. He should have been turned over for deportation but was not. Sanctuary states are a menace to law abiding citizens in other states as this example shows.

What was really vile, Ms. Garris, was Frankie Waters' woke votes in favor of illegal aliens and against American interests. It was expected that the Democrats on the commission would vote that way and they did, but Waters was the only commissioner who claims to be a Republican to do so when the commission voted to urge more border security. Again, Frankie Waters opposed computing the costs to Beaufort County of the illegal aliens in our midst. Waters votes on illegal immigration issues reflect that he is a puppet on such matters of a small group of big farmers who exploit illegal alien labor.

Stan Deatherage's radio ads were not "nasty". They were informative issue-oriented ads that exposed Frankie Waters' nasty voting record on illegal aliens. I wish Deatherage had raised enough money to get those ads all across the radio dial instead of just one station. If he had, Waters would have been out on his ass, as he needs to be. The ads stated the facts of Waters' nasty voting record which voters needed to know and Waters is not going to tell them himself.

Frankie Waters' woke votes in favor of illegal aliens make him a traitor to America, to Beaufort County, and to the Republican Party. Stan Deatherage is a patriot who understands the threat to our county from Biden's open borders illegal immigration policy and has raised the issue on the county commission.

One other question, Ms. Garris. You state that the Republican Party is not supposed to take sides in primaries or among Republicans in the general election. It appears to me that your comments below are taking sides as county chairwoman in the commissioner race against Stan Deatherage. Do your party rules allow that?

Giving money to candidates who share a contributors major concerns is the best way to go, but there is some need to give to a party to run its headquarters, participate in local events, and run local advertising. I have done both but much more of direct personal contributions to candidates. If I see that a party organization is only going to be a pass through to write checks to candidates, then I will keep my money. I would rather be the one to decide which candidates get my money than someone like this Varcoe guy. I do not and would not give money to a party for that. When I go to the State Fair, I always try to give the NCGOP some money at their booth because I think having the booth is a good thing and it costs money to do it.

Who are the good candidates to send money to this year? In North Carolina, far and away the most important is Ted Budd who will be a strong voice against illegal immigration and will cancel out the completely awful Thom Tillis. Sandy Smith is also a good one as her race is likely to be close and the differences on immigration issues are night and day.

Farther afield, Kari Lake for governor of Arizona is a top choice and so is Kelly Tshibaka for US Senate in Alaska. Kelly is very strong on immigration issues and is leading Murkowski, who is very bad on immigration issues in the polls.

Kari Lake will be an outstanding patriot in defending our border. She has pledged to issue a declaration of invasion under the US Constitution to facilitate more state action to stop the illegal aliens and have the state finish President Trump's border wall.

What has become a huge concern is that the reporting of election results has stopped for many hours with perhaps as much as 20% of the vote outstanding. The last updates were in the early hours of the morning, with nothing more all day. This is extremely suspicious. The state official in charge of the election process just happens to be the Democrat nominee for governor. They just about have to have been counting votes all day, so why are results not being released? Kari Lake leads by over 11,000 votes, but this could be overcome by cheating.

The liberal Republican opponent is awful on illegal immigration. She has supported in-state tuition for illegal aliens, giving citizenship to illegal aliens, and says illegal immigration is NOT a top issue for Arizona. She also supports letting men into womens restrooms and showers.

In the last Italian election, it was an illegal alien murdering a young Italian girl and leaving her dismembered body in a suitcase at a town dump that outraged voters on the immigration issue. It is to be hoped that this video will have a similar impact. Watching the video, the victim must have received quite severe injuries. Illegal aliens who have invaded western countries should be rounded up and sent back to their own countries.

The key thing the next British Prime Minister needs to do to get control of illegal immigration is to exit the pro-migrant European Court of Human Rights. Their rulings are awful, such as ordering a Muslim radical not be deported due to his "right to a family life" with his CAT! Right now they are blocking the transfer of illegal aliens to Rwanda for processing. The UK should quit that crooked court.
