Swedish Prime Minister vows to make immigration policy strictest in Europe | Eastern North Carolina Now

Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson had outlined a new immigration policy that his new conservative government intends to implement to make Sweden's immigration laws the strictest in Europe.  In particular, he plans a severe crackdown on false asylum claims, as most illegal aliens who try to claim asylum are really economic migrants.  He blasted the lax immigration policies of the preceding Social Democrat government.  Kristersson declared that "mass immigration is not working in Sweden"

Considering that Poland and Hungary in eastern Europe already have extremely strict immigration laws, and even Denmark in western Europe is quite strict, Sweden will have to move quite a distance to make its immigration laws the strictest in Europe, but here's to the prime minister for initiating that move.

Latvia and Lithuania are also quite strict on immigration. Latvia passed legislation putting "push back" authorization into their immigration laws, directing border police to push illegal aliens who have already crossed the border back across the border out of Latvia, and similar legislation is advancing in Finland and Lithuania. Italy has put major restrictions on the migrant "rescue" ships and recently seized two of them that violated those restrictions.
